factory system upgrades?

Rockford Fosgate revitalizes their time on the road
Lynn wanted better sound in her minivan, but didn't want to lose some factory features. So she installed a digital signal processor from Rockford Fosgate to take over the tunes, and added new speakers, an amp, and a sub for a complete overhaul. Now her music sounds amazing, and she gets to keep her factory look and feel.
Lynn: I'm Lynn, and I'm a mobile copywriter for Crutchfield, and I really didn't know much about how good audio quality can sound in a car until I came to work for Crutchfield. So up until pretty recently I was very happy with my factory system in the van, and one of the reasons that I wanted to upgrade was learning more about audio quality. But then I found out that if I changed my receiver in the car I was gonna lose some of the features that came with it, mainly my two video screens that my kids love to watch movies on.
So Rockford Fosgate has a really cool solution that helped me out in that they have what's called a digital signal processor. It's the 3Sixty3. And what that does is allow me to keep my factory equipment, but upgrade my audio system. And so I was able to do new speakers and a new amp and this digital signal processor which let me keep my factory head unit, so the kids can still watch movies and I get this amazing sound now.
Zach: I think it sounds better not just because of how loud it is. It makes it sound clearer, like you can hear the higher pitched sounds now better. You can hear the lower sounds better. It's just all around better.
Michael: Yeah. You don't even know what you're missing until you go back and hear the same song with the new system. You realize there might have been instruments in the background that you never even knew were there before.
Lynn: I am so thrilled with this upgrade. I can't believe the difference in my audio quality. I definitely take the long way to work now, or I hang out in the parking lot to hear the end of a song where before, I would have just hopped out of my car right away because I really didn't care — because it wasn't worth sticking around for. Now it's definitely worth sticking around for.
So if you're considering an audio upgrade, definitely worth the investment in getting rid of your factory system and getting a much better system in there like the Rockford Fosgate. And of course if you have any questions, you need any help with that install, be sure to call you Crutchfield advisor for help.
