Keep your shots steady with SLIK's Sprint Pro II tripod. Its ball head swivels easily in any direction, and ensures smooth pans and tilts for your camera. It also locks down firmly to keep your picture blur-free. The titanium alloy legs are light but sturdy, and can hold up to 4-1/2 lbs. of equipment.

This is a compact tripod designed for travel. It collapses to under 19 inches and weighs less than 2 lbs. The center column can be taken apart so you can lower your camera to to just 6.8 inches from the ground for super low-angle shots. The tripod can also expand to a height of 64 inches, when you want to see above the crowds. It's compatible with most digital cameras and camcorders, and the quick release plate lets you quickly mount and remove your camera.

    Overview: The SLIK SPRINT PRO II tripod is designed for use with lightweight digital or film SLR and compact cameras. The tripod features all metal construction, 4 section-legs with speed-release leg-locks, and an included SLIK SBH-100DQ Ball-Head.

    Ball-Head: The SLIK SPRINT PRO II features the new SLIK SBH-100DQ all-metal compact ball head with quick release system for faster, easier mounting of a camera. A single lever locks and releases the all-metal ball-head so the camera is capable of being positioned at almost any angle then locked into place.

    Aluminum Legs: The lightweight aluminum leg sections have an indented groove that prevents the individual sections from turning during set-up or folding down, keeping the legs sections perfectly aligned.

    4 Leg Design: The SLIK SPRINT PRO II is a compact tripod with 4 leg-sections that collapse down to less than 19 inches and weighs just under 2 lbs. The SPRINT PRO II is a full sized tripod when it is extended to its maximum height of almost 64.3 inches.

    Leg Angle Adjustment: The legs provide a 3-position angle adjustment. When used with the built-in short center column, (the included center column unscrews into two pieces) the camera is just 6.8 inches off the ground for extremely low-angle or macro photography out in the field.

    Padded Leg Wraps: The SLIK SPRINT PRO II has padded leg-wraps for more comfortable carrying.

    Carrying Bag: The SLIK tripod comes with a nylon, draw-string carrying bag for storage, protection, and transport.

    Very good product overall. Very quick delivery and great service from Crutchfield
    Pros:
    Very light weight, great height range, easy to operate, very compact, great carrying bag, ball head allows for wide range of views including horizontal and vertical photos
    Cons:
    Ball head seems a bit loose and can be a little tricky adjusting while camera with telaphoto lens is on

    Good build quality, better than what you can see from web images. The legs are easy to snap into place because the tabs are well engineered. This company has been making tripods forever and it shows in this product.

    Perfect Tripod for Hiking, Travel

    This SLIK Sprint Pro II tripod was purchased to carry on hikes. Our other tripod
    is very heavy and was difficult to carry. And basically impossible to carry on
    long hikes. This tripod is very lightweight and you can simply carry it in your
    hand or slip onto a daypack and you can't even tell it is there. The legs can be
    adjusted to variable heights. I use a Canon XSI with a 75-300 lens and this
    tripod handles it just fine. You do have to lock it into place a little high, because
    it does drop a little, but that is minor. The tripod ball head can be manipulated
    into any position within a 180 degree radius. This SLIK Sprint Pro II Tripod is
    exactly what I needed and would recommend it to anyone needing a smaller,
    lightweight tripod for camera use.
    And Crutchfield's has the best price that we could find anywhere. The
    shipping was free and we received it quickly - good experience with this
    company.

    Works great with my Olympus E-PL1. The quick release plate is just the right
    size. I have the Lowepro 102AW sling bag and the Slik Sprint Pro II fits
    conveniently on the bags tripod mount system. Tripod is very light and stable.
