About the Infinity PS-12
Looking for a powered sub that dishes out bass you can feel? Infinity's PS-12 fits the bill perfectly. With its 300-watt RMS amp and massive 12" driver, the PS-12 lowers the "boom" on your movies and music with frequency response down to 28 Hz. Infinity uses its exclusive M.M.D. driver material (derived from the C.M.M.D. material used on their top-of-the-line Prelude speakers), which features a stiff aluminum core for superior accuracy. You'll experience tight, precise bass from stereo music and other-worldly rumble from multichannel movie soundtracks. If clear, hard-hitting bass matters to you, count on the PS-12 to deliver.

Inputs and Outputs Notes
Metal Matrix Diaphragm (M.M.D.): Derived from the C.M.M.D. material used in Infinity's flagship Prelude drivers, M.M.D. features a stiff aluminum core that provides exceptional strength and rigidity for clean, realistic low-frequency tones.
Amplifier: The 12" M.M.D. front-firing cone woofer is powered by a 300-watt (RMS) amplifier.
Surround: For a smoother response and improved durability, the woofer uses a rubber surround.
Bass Port: There is a rear-firing bass port that allows deep bass with high acoustic efficiency and low distortion.
Gain Control: The subwoofer has a rotary control on the rear panel for adjusting the level of the bass.
Phase Switch: The subwoofer's phase switch allows you to control the phase of the subwoofer's output relative to the front speakers. If the bass sounds muddy or unclear, toggling the phase control can sometimes strengthen the bass "attack."
Auto On/Off Circuit: The auto on/off circuit turns the power amp on when a signal is sensed and turns the amplifier off and into standby mode approximately 10 minutes after a signal is no longer received. An LED indicator on the rear panel glows green when the amplifier is on and red when the amp is in standby.
Low-Pass Crossover: The subwoofer features a continuously variable 50-150 Hz low-pass crossover that determines the highest frequency at which the subwoofer reproduces sounds. The crossover has a 24 dB/octave slope.
Line-level Inputs: The gold-plated stereo RCA line-level inputs allow you to connect the subwoofer to the receiver or surround processor's subwoofer output using an RCA patch cable. If the receiver/processor has a mono subwoofer output, you may use either the left or right line-level input. You do not need to use a "Y" adapter.
Note: Above the inputs is a two-way switch marked "LFE" and "Normal". When the switch is in the "LFE" position, the inputs are not affected by the subwoofer's internal low-pass crossover. When the switch is in the "Normal" position, the low-pass filter is engaged.
Speaker-level Inputs: The left and right gold-plated 5-way binding posts allow you to connect the subwoofer to a receiver/amplifier using speaker wire.

I like bass and this sub woofer delivers. Was worth every penny. Can feel it with music and movies. Teamed with a DENON all from Crutchfield. All the sound is crystal clear even at very high volumes.
