BDI creates elegant, high-quality furniture that's designed from the start with home theater components in mind. They've done it again with the Cascadia 8257. This extra-wide cabinet's simple, clean lines fit in with just about any decór. The 8254 can support a flat-panel TV with a screen size of up to 73", with room for a large audio/video system underneath.
Store up to six components
A full-length open compartment directly under the cabinet top makes a great home for your center channel speaker. The compartment has two partial dividers to provide easy organization should you choose to store components in that space.
The lower compartment divides into three sections, each of which can store a component. This compartment features a flip-down door with a tinted glass panel. The door discreetly hides your system while permitting remote control operation. And it uses sturdy, soft-close hinges, so you never have to worry about the door slamming shut and jarring your components.
Openings in the back of the shelving let you neatly route your system's cables. Ventilation ports keep your gear running cool, even with the cabinet's doors closed.
