Marine Tested: JL Audio's marine subwoofers go through ultraviolet testing chambers (to simulate years of sun exposure) and salt fog chambers (to simulate years of exposure to salt-water environments and are built to withstand the rigors of marine use.

Woofer: The JL Audio Marine 10" subwoofer features an injection-molded, mica-filled polypropylene cone woofer with a synthetic rubber surround specifically formulated for marine duty. The woofer uses a vented motor design with a marine-grade stainless steel rear diffuser plate and a marine-grade synthetic fiber spider with a progressive roll design.

DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis): JL Audio's proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) technology results in ultra-linear motor force over a long range of excursion and a wide range of power inputs to reduce distortion and improve sound quality.

Polymer Basket And Grille: The Centrex, UV-resistant polymer basket and grille are corrosion and UV-resistant which help protect the woofer and encapsulates the motor assembly to prevent corrosion.

Connections: The 10" marine woofer is equipped with gold-plated, marine-grade brass connection terminals.

Mounting Hardware: The woofer comes supplied with marine-grade, stainless-steel mounting screws and washers.

Box Type: The M10W5-CG-WH marine 10" woofer can be mounted in a 0.875 cubic foot sealed enclosure or a 1.25 cubic foot ported enclosure with a single 3" diameter x 13" long port. The box should be constructed out of 5/8" to 3/4" thick material.
