Years ago when MB Quart and Phoenix Gold ruled the audio solid state high-end arena Stillwater Designs(Kicker) came out with a set of silk dome component tweeters with crossovers for about $200(circa 92' or so). I've found a few speakers that sound as smooth and clear as those but in the $400+ range which I'm not willing to shell out anymore. I took a chance on these with the price and of course how awesome Crutchfield is with their return policy. I have a 2007 Subaru Outback and I was able to permanently modify the factory the tweeter brackets to hold the Focal housings. In the doors(Front and Rear) I have JL audio 6.5" 2-ways running on a Alpine 50x4 amp and a JL 8" sub on 150 Watts. I tied in the new tweeters, dropped the gain a hair and cut back the Treble setting on my head unit about 6db(that's a lot). All the nuances in the music still exist and other's are back that had, in the past, dissipated as they passed my ankles on the way to my ears. The sound stage raised to about chin level which brought a big smile. I'm impressed with these tweeter for a few reasons: overall sound(can't believe how low they were able to produce which really helps in presence/staging), efficiency(I'm sure I could cut the power in half and still gain all the same benefits) and of course price. These tweeters are the icing on the cake for a great system that will not break the bank.

The Focal KIT TNI 1.5 really added a fine crystal clear tone. It is a beautiful sounding tweeter.

Wow these babys really kick, very detailed and crisp and the way they project is amazing, not harsh or screechy at all, just the right balance I was looking for these complete my system.... Cant go wrong with FOCAL!

Simply amazing!! Custom mounted these in my BMW 325 with a little work. I paired them with four alpine type S 4inch component speakers and an alpine CDE 123. I have an alpine power pack amplifier running 45 watts rms to each set(4 in all). I listen to alot of different music; rock, metal, country, and even some rap. And must I say, Focal has amazed me. These tweeters let you hear musical notes and instruments you have never heard before in your favorite songs. These tweeters really make you feel like apart of the song. Every time I turn on my CDE-123 I feel like I'm in a recording studio. Very fair price for high quality sound. I would recommend to anyone and would buy anything focal produces. Amazing!!
