Portable Hi-Fi iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II
is a portable hi-fi speaker dock designed for the Apple iPod or iPhone. The
Go + Play will play music & video content from your iPod or iPhone device. The
Go + Play II delivers tight, accurate bass from its high-excursion low-frequency
drivers, while also providing distinct & crystal clear highs. The Go + Play II
is AC or battery operated, so it will go anywhere your iPod/iPhone goes.
Modern Industrial Design: From its arched
stainless-steel handle to its iPod/iPhone docking cradle, the high-performance
Harman Kardon Go + Play II loudspeaker combines high-minded utility with an
understated, functional industrial design. Stylish yet not too flashy,
the Harman Kardon Go + Play II has a black body with silver accents, designed to
complement virtually any interior design scheme.
Two-Way Speaker Design: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II employs a
two-way speaker system for clear, detailed highs & rich, deep bass. Two Atlas
woofers produce extended bass performance with minimal distortion, while two
Odyssey tweeters project powerful musical details over a wide listening area;
giving the Harman Kardon Go + Play II exceptional range that most other portable
loudspeakers cannot produce. The Harman Kardon Go + Play II has a frequency
response of 40 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
Bi-Amplification: Using bi-amplification, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II's
woofers & tweeters are independently amplified for exceptional richness &
clarity of sound. By amplifying the woofers & tweeters separately, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II delivers the kind of sharp, efficient,
optimal sound quality you expect from Harman Kardon. the Harman Kardon Go + Play
II supplies 15W to each tweeter & 30W to each woofer.
Intelligent Equalization (EQ) Technology: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II
system is computer-optimized to produce an all-encompassing, 360-degree
soundstage. With intelligent equalization (EQ) technology in place to improve
stereo imaging greatly, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II delivers a powerfully
tuned digital audio path that ultimately leads to unsurpassed precision in terms
of performance. With clean, compact digital amplification coupled with digital
signal processing (DSP), the Harman Kardon Go + Play II employs one algorithm
that optimizes system dynamics & bass impact in AC power mode; & another to
minimize distortion during battery operation.
iPod/iPhone Dock: The Harman Kardon Go +
Play II loudspeaker incorporates an integrated iPod/iPhone dock adapter, making it compatible
with most iPod/iPhone models. The Go + Play II supports audio playback, video
output, basic remote control playback functions, & charging of select
iPod/iPhone devices. The Harman Kardon Go + Play II has been certified "Made for
iPod/iPhone" compatible & supports the following iPod/iPhone model functions (as
of October 2011).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If
this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or
wait until an newer software update is available.
Smart RF Remote: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II system offers you
complete control by including a smart RF remote for two-way communication &
superior signal reception. The remote lets you adjust volume,
change tracks, & fast-forward or reverse through songs from across the room (up
to 29' away). You also still get full iPod or iPhone functionality (via the
clickwheel or touchscreen),
which allows you to browse by song, artist, or album; as well as select
playlists, slide shows, & videos.
Note: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II system is equipped with a
storage compartment on the back of the unit. Simply press the top of the
compartment to open it & store the RF remote.
Automatic iPod/iPhone Charging: To prevent
the loss of battery power in your iPod or iPhone device, the Harman Kardon Go +
Play II conveniently acts as a charging station when it's plugged into a wall
outlet. Whether your iPod or iPhone device is set to Shuffle mode or to a
playlist with hundreds of songs, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II will never drain
its battery life. Instead, when connected to an electrical outlet, the Harman
Kardon Go + Play II can keep your iPod or iPhone battery as strong as it was
when you started or stronger.
S-Video Output: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II is fitted with a S-Video output for high-quality iPod/iPhone photo
& video
playback on a connected television. S-video cable sold separately.
Note: The video output does not display metadata
(artist/song information).
USB Port: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II can sync your docked iPod or
iPhone up to the iTunes music store using a USB cable (sold separately), allowing you to expand
your music library - even as you're listening to the library's songs.
Stereo Minijack Input: A stereo minijack
connection gives you the added freedom of enjoying high-quality audio from a
variety of other sources; such as your MP3 player, CD player, desktop computer,
or laptop. Stereo audio minijack cable sold separately.
Convenient Touch Controls: The Harman Kardon Go +
Play II loudspeaker dock integrates the latest touch-control technology. On the user-friendly control
panel, one touch increases or decreases volume. Another touch mutes or un-mutes
the system (No turning or twisting of knobs is required).
AC or Battery Power: Whether you're at home
or on the move, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II works with battery power (8
type-D alkaline batteries, not included) or with AC power if you simply plug it into a wall
outlet. When in AC mode, the Harman Kardon Go + Play II never uses battery power
& it keeps your iPod or iPhone device charged. The battery-power feature offers
you the convenience of taking your Harman Kardon Go + Play II with you, without
relying on electricity. A fresh set of batteries provides up to 10 hours of
playback time.
Note: The Harman Kardon Go + Play II remembers all your previous settings when the
system is powered Off & On.
