These harnesses allow you to plug your new speakers into the factory connectors present in your vehicle's speaker openings. Warranty: 60 days.

Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular — see "Accessories."

Features

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

The product works as expected but the package was lacking clearer instructions or at least instructions that were written for my make and model but tech support saved the day.
Pros:
Tech Support was a blessing during the hoop up of this component.
Cons:
I had to slice the wires to attach them to the system input cables but I would have assumed they would have shipped to me that way instead of making me perform the act.

These are just what I needed to wire up my new speakers without having to cut into my factory wiring! Though, to utilize the cross-overs and tweeters for my speakers, I did have to cut these in half and splice into them to wire all that up, but it still prevented me from having to cut into the factory wiring in my car!

Direct fit adapter
Cons:
Less than direct fit if you have independent tweeters or cross-overs, As is, it only allows you to connect just one component per harness

I used these in my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Spyder to replace my door speakers. They fit perfectly into the factory socket and slid easily over the speaker connectors. The sound is great and installation time was very fast.
