This 18-55mm lens is a great choice for everyday picture taking with your Sony NEX-series hybrid camera. On the 18mm end, you get a pretty wide-angle, "zoomed out" view that lets you capture a lot of the scene in front of you — great for capturing dramatic landscapes and cityscapes. On the 55mm end, you get a good bit of zoom, up to about 3X or so, which can be a good focal length for flattering portraits.

I bought this lens almost 1 month ago. This zoom lens is sharp enough. Its optical result is over its price. A real good lens, with camera daily. But the aperture is a little low.
