Love this wire. Very durable and flexible. I'd like to think this wire is about really a 10 gauge wire. Its some really thick stuff for speaker wire. Id defiantly spend the extra money to get this wire.

Definitely nice speaker wire. I've used it numerous times on different builds, and will continue to do so. The protective jacket it makes it a little thick and stiff, but overall it's great stuff. Well worth it.

The clear coating around the wires is kind of hard to cut off. But after wiring it into my system it looks great and sounds great.

Great wire. I was a little concerned as to the expected quality, however, I couldn't be happier. I only used about 3' to run the signal from my mono amp to the subwoofer. No issues or concerns.

Once you work with wire like this, there's no going back. In the scheme of things, the cost is insignificant if you are piecing together a nice system. It assures you are getting clean, powerful signal from your amps. I've never picked up any radio noise or the like, and in fact have eliminated such simply by upgrading stock wiring to Streetwires Ultra Cable. Ordered 3' to go from the amp (500 max) to a 12" ported Polk sub. Not only does it sound fantastic, but it looks great with my son's car too as it is dark blue, the Sub is blue LED lithted and this just fits in with the scheme.

These gave my focals pure clean music.

Great quality wire that worked good with connecting my new amp to my new subwoofer enclosure.

At first, I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing these speaker wires for subwoofer application on my 2012 Mazda5 -- purchased a JL 6-1/2" ported sub for my car to replace my Kicker 10" enclosed sub. Turns out that the sub is too big to place underneath the front passenger seat but these wires, definitely not going back because it's a well made cable for mobile environment. Outer jacket is a heavy duty PVC material and the inner conductor is composed of very fine strands and although they are rated at 12 gauge, they are very beefy with very think outer insulation and a lot more conductor. In addition, because the inner conductors are twisted, so much of the crosstalk will be cancelled out as it travels down the path to the sub. Bit on the expensive side but I believe it's better than most wires sold at other retailers.

These cables do the trick. Love the outer sleeve to keep the wires bundled together, makes it a nice and clean presentation. The quality of the wire is really good, soldered connectors to the wires and the solder stuck to it with ease.

Good construction. Pretty good value. Huge difference in clarity after using this wire. Like others have said the outer sleeve is hard to cut out side of that good quality.

Ordered this to hook up my amp to my sub. Works great, although a bit tough to cut cleanly.

This is good, quality cable. I don't see the problems some are having with the sheath, it's super easy to work with, much like Romex and very easy to work through the accordian tubes in car doors (use a bit of rose oil or grease, and a stiff pilot wire). You need to separate the wires a good deal when soldering or the heat will blister the insulation together (not uncommon). My new pick for best value in a nice looking G.P. speaker wire. I've been doing car audio for about 32 years and have never had a complaint with Crutchfield, also, they were not stingy when paying out my measure of wire! Thanks people!

Greatest speaker wire. I understand a lot of people are having trouble with the protective layer. All yu do is take a razor and make a slight cut length wise and pull the wire through the cut. Its extremely easy. The wire is flexible and increased my sound quality by alot. Also, the blue and clear looks really cool. Overall one of the best wires out there. Lckily, i got mine when it was only 1$ a foot :)

If you are like me and have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on improving your car audio system, and still seem like there is a weak link; this is usually from your power wire or speaker cable. As soon as I took out the RCA cables, Speaker Wire, and Power Wire and replaced them all with the streetwire alternatives, I experieced the best quality and power increases I have ever gotten from any upgrade in a system. The hissing at listening level when a song is not playing, and is paused etc, all went away; the speakers seemed twice as good, and the amp ran cooler as well. This is the way to go, I spent around 150 on upgrading all my wire including rca's to streetwire's version; compared to what I spent on my amps, subs, and components it is a small price to pay to make your system perform with maximum power and clarity. I feel it was stupid of me not to use this in the beggining and will never turn back! This is better than any wire I have ever installed, worked with, listened to, or bought; and the protective layer is incredible for eliminating noise and keeping the wire together i do not understand the negative reviews about this! You get protection from distortion and the elements with this and a pair of scizzors will cut right through the wire with ease, if you want perfection ignore any review stating that the outer coating is a con of this product, and embrace it as it is truly an integral part that enhances performance and clarity! Buy this and never turn back.
