Features

Overview: The Bose QuietComfort 3 Mobile Communications Kit is a 52" cable that plugs directly into the left earcup of the QuietComfort 3 headphones. The other end has a 3.5mm miniplug for connecting to your mobile phone. An in-line microphone allows you to switch seamlessly from music to phone calls, and engage in a conversation on the phone while wearing the headphones.

Adapters: Four adapters are included for use with those phones that have a 2.5mm sub-mini jack. Although each adapter has a 2.5mm sub-mini plug, the contact bands are spaced differently to accommodate different brands or models of mobile phones. Each adapter has a symbol to distinguish between the types of plugs.

Compatibility: The Mobile Communications kit is compatible with Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones and with multiple brands and models of phone. Some phones will require one of the supplied adapters. The kit is compatible with the following mobile phones:

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have some hearing deficit and I was hoping that this would help me to communicate better Hear better and be heard better) on conference calls. I could hear really well but others were unable to hear me very well. The head phones worked well but the microphone was terrible. My audience said it was muffles and sounded very difficult to understand. I tried it a number of times with the same result. Dissappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons:

The others could not hear me. The microphone was terrible.

A necessary part of my Bose headphones Ive had for years...consistently every year I have to
spend another $50 because the metal adapter to the headset or airplane jack snaps off...
