Brendan Edgerton
Brendan Edgerton joined Crutchfield as Vice President, Direct Marketing in December of 2006. Brendan leads Crutchfield’s Direct Marketing department and is responsible for setting strategy related to catalog marketing, web marketing, email marketing and web analytics. Brendan and his team manage the contact strategy for Crutchfield and maintain the strong relationship Crutchfield has with its customers through outbound marketing communication as well as inbound programs like SEO and SEM.
Prior to joining Crutchfield, Brendan spent 12 years working with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies. Most recently, Brendan was Director of Direct Marketing with Corporate Express, a $4.6 billion North American office products company. Prior to that, Brendan led the direct marketing efforts of Benchmark Brands in Atlanta, GA and Crate and Barrel in Northbrook, IL. Early in his career Brendan worked for consulting firm Herbert Krug & Associates in Evanston, IL where he consulted with a broad array of companies including Ford Motorsport, UNICEF, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
Brendan received his BA from Saint Anselm College, and MA from Loyola University Chicago. He has been a DMA Catalog Council voting member, and member of both the Atlanta and Rocky Mountain chapters of the DMA. Brendan has spoken at industry events such as the Direct Marketing to Business conference and ACCM. He currently serves on the DMA Catalog Segment Advisory Board. Originally a native of New England, Brendan and his family now reside in Charlottesville, VA.
