Features
Overview: The Toshiba 3D glasses (FPT-AG01U) enable you to watch 3D
video content (such as movies, games, or sporting events) from your 3D-ready
Blu-ray player, gaming system, or satellite receiver (HDMI v1.4) on your
compatible Toshiba 3D-ready LCD HDTV.
Note: The ideal viewing distance should be at least 3
times the screen
height. Due to the possible impact on vision development, viewers of 3D
video images should be age 6 or above.
Compatibility: The Toshiba 3D glasses (FPT-AG01U) are only compatible
with Toshiba 3D-ready LCD HDTVs; including the Toshiba WX800 series LED-LCD TVs
(as of October 2010).
Note: In addition to a compatible Toshiba 3D-ready LCD TV, viewing
3D programming requires a compatible 3D playback device (Blu-ray/Satellite
receiver) with compatible 3D content connected to your 3D-ready TV via a 3D
capable high-speed HDMI (v1.4) cable.
Liquid-Crystal Shutter Lenses: A right and left liquid-crystal shutter
opens and closes alternately with the images for the left eye and for the right
eye alternately project on the television screen. In this way, 3D images are
reproduced.
IR Receiver: The Toshiba 3D glasses feature an integrated IR receiver
which receives the infrared signal from the liquid-crystal shutter control sent
from your 3D-ready Toshiba LCD TV.
Note: Do not block the IR sensor for 3D glasses on the TV by
placing objects in front of it.
Power Indicator: When the 3D glasses are turned on, the power light
lights up for approximately two seconds. When the power to the 3D glasses is
turned off, the power light blinks three time. The power light will blink five
times when the battery is low. The power light will not light up or blink if the
battery has died.
Power Requirements: The Toshiba 3D glasses operate off of a single
CR2032 3V lithium coin-type battery (included). The battery's life is
approximately 75 hours. A small phillips-head screwdriver is supplied in order
to remove and replace the battery.
Note: If the infrared data communication between your 3D Toshiba
television and the 3D glasses is lost for 5 minutes, the power of the 3D
glasses is turned off to prevent the battery being consumed.
Included Accessories: The Toshiba 3D glasses include a hard-plastic
storage case, a restraint band, and a cleaning cloth.
