Features

Overview: The Big Foot Mount Installation Kit is designed specifically to mount the OnStar FMV to the windshield of compatible vehicles that use a Big foot style mounting system to secure the factory rearview mirror. The big foot mount installation kit consist of the following:

• Big foot mounting plate
• Tube of 1-step glass primer
• Dual self-adhesive syringe
• 2 Alcohol prep-pads
• Installation Instructions

Note: The Big Foot Mount Installation Kit is only need if there is no mount present on the windshield. If the vehicle already has the "big foot" mirror mount on the windshield, then no kit or adapter is required.

Cleaning & Prepping Windshield: Clean the inside windshield glass thoroughly with a razor blade to remove any old adhesive. Clean the inside windshield glass and the mounting surface of the mirror mounting base thoroughly with the provided alcohol wipes.

Applying Adhesive: Using only the adhesive provided, apply the adhesive to the back side of the bigfoot mount in a back & forth zigzag pattern. Hold the mounting base firmly in place for approximately 1 minutes. Place a few strips of electrical tape over the bigfoot mount to hold the mount in place for 30 minutes while the adhesive sets.

Mounting Mirror: After 30 minutes remove the strips of electrical tape. Install the OnStar FMV Mirror after 60 minutes onto the bigfoot mirror mount.
