Features
Overview: The Audyssey Lower East Side Media Speakers deliver
exceptional clarity, deep bass, and balanced sound for movies and music. With
both 3.5 mm line and digital optical audio inputs you can connect the speakers
to almost any electronic playback device; such as your computer, TV, MP3 player,
tablet, or other smartphone. The speakers are self-powered and operate off of AC
current.
Audyssey Smart Speaker Technology: The Audyssey Lower East Side Media
Speakers give you distortion-free, powerful, and precise sound. With Audyssey
Smart Speaker Technology, you'll hear every musical detail - deep bass, warm
mids, and clear highs.
Passive Bass Radiator System: Each Lower East Side Media Speakers is
equipped with a 0.75" silk-dome tweeter, a 3.5" woofer, and a 4" passive bass
radiator. The tweeter and woofer are front-firing, while the passive bass
radiator is rear-firing. The speaker's passive bass radiator design and Audyssey's proprietary
technology enhances low frequency reproduction and bass performance.
Digital Amp: The Right speaker is equipped with a built-in 2ch digital
amplifier to power both speakers of the Lower East Side Media Speaker system.
Spring Clip Terminals: The Audyssey Lower East Side Media Speakers are
equipped with spring clips terminals to connect the two speakers together using
the included 6.5' speaker wire.
Analog & Digital Inputs: With digital optical audio and analog
3.5 mm inputs, you can use the Lower East Side Media Speakers with your desktop
or laptop computer, your flat-panel TV or Apple TV, your PS3 or other gaming
system, your iPod or other digital audio player, and your iPad or other model
tablet. Both connections are located on the rear panel of the Right speaker.
Headphone Output: There is a front-panel 3.5mm headphone jack for
connection of a set of headphones. The speaker's audio will be muted when a set
of headphones is connected.
Front-Panel Volume Control: The Audyssey Lower East Side Media
Speakers feature an easy access, front-panel, rotary volume control on the Right
speaker.
Pedestal Stand: The Lower East Side Media Speakers feature
integrated pedestal stands to rest the speakers on a desk, shelf, or
counter-top.
Automatic Standby Mode: The Audyssey Lower East Side Media Speakers
enter into standby mode after approximately 15 minutes without a signal.
AC Power Supply: The Lower East Side Media Speakers operate off of
standard household AC current using the supplied AC power adapter and detachable
AC power cord. The AC power adapter plugs into the back of the Right speaker.
