I used this as a double din application so I did not use the pocket that is provided. It went in perfectly and the color match is perfect to the stock dash silver color. Very happy with this dash kit. [Car info]: 2011 Camry XE / [Stereo]: Pioneer FH-X700BT

Almost looks stock

Much improved over the previous 2007- Camry in-dash receiver kits that I've seen (old ones were fairly flat and plain looking). When installed, the ridge at the top and bottom give it that stock look, although there was some extra plastic along the side edges (easily scraped down carefully using a finger nail). While it does not fit perfectly, no one else can tell if I don't point it out to them. The mounting brackets seem like cheap plastic, but they work, and are secure once fully installed in the dash. When putting it together (prior to placing the entire console unit in the dash) and adjusting the head unit position, I recommend keeping the lower screws that connect to the heater controls loose, and tightening them last.
Pros:
Looks stock, and it is sturdy.
Cons:
Extra plastic (from molding process) along the sides, but easily scraped down. Can use more/better placed mounting holes for the head unit & longer head unit mounting screws (you'll see what I mean) for the lower half of double-din units since the lower area is wider (standard head mounting screws are not long enough).
