Overview: The iLuv Portable Multimedia Player (i1166) allows
you to view your audio/video content at home, in the car, or on the go. The iLuv
portable multimedia player features an integrated 8.9" LCD screen, built-in
stereo speakers & amplifier, integrated iPod dock, and DVD player. The iLuv
i1166 also offers an SD/MMC card slot, USB port, and dual headphone outputs. In
addition, the i1166 includes an IR remote control for wireless operation.
8.9" Widescreen LCD Monitor: The iLuv portable multimedia player
(i1166) features a 8.9" widescreen digital TFT LCD monitor. You can control the
display's brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, sharpness, and aspect ratio
(16:9 or 4:3).
Note: The LCD monitor lifts up to access the unit's built-in DVD
player and integrated iPod dock.
Amplifier & Speaker Section: The iLuv i1166 is equipped with stereo
speakers powered by a built-in amplifier.
DVD Player: The iLuv i1166 is equipped with a built-in DVD player
which will support playback of Audio CD, CD-R/RW, VCD/SVCD, DVD Video, DVD-R/RW,
and DVD+R/RW discs. The built-in DVD player also supports playback of MP3/WMA
(32-320 kbps)
audio files and JPEG still image files recorded onto a CD-R or CD-RW disc; as
well a DivX video recorded onto to either DVD-R/W or DVD+R/RW discs.
iPod Dock: The iLuv i1166 is equipped with an integrated iPod dock
behind the unit's LCD monitor. The iLuv i166 supports audio/video playback,
information display, album art, advanced control, and charging of select Apple
iPods. The unit also supports the iPhone in "Airplane Mode". The iLuv i1166 is "Made for iPod" compatible and supports the following
iPod model functions (May 2010).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version,
you may need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone to regain
functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to
the older software version or wait until an newer software
update is available.
USB Port: The iLuv portable multimedia player features a side-panel
USB type-A port (behind a fold-down door) for connecting a USB mass storage class device, such as a thumbdrive
or digital music player. The unit's USB port supports playback of MP3/WMA
(32-320 kbps) audio files, JPEG
still image files, and DivX video files. You are able to control basic playback
functions of your music, movie, and picture files. The unit will display artist
and song name, along with track information.
SD/MMC Card Slot: The iLuv portable multimedia player features a
side-panel SD/MMC card slot (behind a fold-down door) for playback of MP3/WMA
(32-320 kbps) audio files, JPEG still
image files, and DivX video files recorded onto an SD or MMC memory card.
You are able to control basic playback functions of your music, movie, and
picture files. The unit will display artist and song name, along with track
information.
Headphone Outputs: The iLuv i1166 features dual 3.5mm headphone
outputs (behind a fold-down door) for private listening. The unit's built-in
speakers are muted once you connect a set of headphones.
Remote Control: In addition to controls on the front-panel of the
unit, the iLuvi1166 includes an IR remote control for wireless operation of the
portable multimedia player and your docked iPod. The remote operates off of a single CR2025 3V
lithium battery (included).
Pull-Out Stand: The iLuv i1166 features a rear-panel pull-out stand to
adjust the angle of the portable multimedia player as needed (similar to a
picture frame stand).
Power Supply: The iLuv portable multimedia player supports 3 power
sources.
- AC Adapter: This unit can operate on AC 100V-240V, 60/50Hz house
current using the supplied AC power adapter.
- Car Adapter: The unit can be operated in your vehicle using the
supplied 12-volt cigarette lighter car adapter.
- Built-in Battery: The unit's built-in Li-Polymer rechargeable
battery allows you to take the iLuv i1166 almost anywhere. The battery can
be recharged using the included AC power adapter.
Note: Before using the i1166, make sure to fully charge the
internal battery. The battery is fully charged after approximately 3-4 hours.
