These speakers went into a 2001 GMC Sonoma to replace the blown out 12 year old factory speakers. Installation took less than 2 hours with minimal tools. Crutchfield makes it easy with included installation instructions and adapters. Speakers sound great and are a huge improvement over the OEM speakers, I can now hear music while driving on the highway with the windows down.

Speakers look nice, but sound like Crap. Total down grad from factory speakers. My 2002 Trailblazer factory speakers blow these away big time. Do not buy these speakers if you don't have a Sub-woofer. These speakers output absolutely no Bass at all. Even if I Max out the Bass setting on my radio. The bass on these speakers sound like a "thong" sound as if you were to bang your hands on a empty spastic bucket. After a week, I couldn't get used to it, I replaced them with Kickers - Way much better. There should be a note on these stating: Bass tube or sub-woofer required and not included. I don't know what happened to Pioneer with this one.

Pros:

They look nice. Mid and high range sound ONLY - good for AM radio only

Cons:

No Bass at all. Zero, I wouldn't install them in my car even if they were free. Item has been retuned.

The new Pioneer speakers sound great in my '07 Chevy Truck. With the provided installation instructions, getting to the speakers was easy. I also bought mounting brackets that easily work with these speakers for an easy no-drill installation.

I bought these speakers to replace the blown out speakers in my 2007 Civic Hybrid. They were a great replacement at the price they are sold at. I am running this off my stock head unit (in dash GPS), and these work perfectly. The first day they sounded a little bit hollow, but after the speakers broke in after a day or two, they started to sound really great.

Able to install speakers with minimal fuss. Directions given were not 100% accurate to my vehicle - more like 95% - but the web covered any differences. Mounting slots for speaker are slightly oversized for screw holes on vehicle, but by angling the screws they will fit. Speakers work great for the price I paid.

I purchased these to replace stock speakers in my RV. I'm very happy with the sound for the price. They have a much better range than the original speakers.

There are several pairs of $50 speakers, I ordered these to replace the door speakers in my 1998 maxima. The install took me about 40 minutes for the pair. The fit was not perfect since the four screw holes did not line up exactly, but I made it work with minimal effort. The speakers sound fine, I'm very happy with them for $50.

These speakers sound great! Bass, mids and highs are all well balanced and they sound much better than the factory speakers! Installtion was a little difficult because of the 3 wireing harnesses that I had to un plug.

Good price; however it was recommended through my vehicle finder as a sure fit. It does not fit significantly smaller in size as well sound. The quality and sound of my blown stock sound much better than what was provided. Otherwise shipping was adequate, price was fair. Overall though highly displeased.

Great Factory Replacement Speakers (:

I purchased two pairs of the Pioneer TS-G1644R speakers to replace four factory speakers in my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have owned these speakers for a little over a year, and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is excellent, better than my factory speakers ever were. The power output is 250 watts max, so they can handle a lot of power. Plus, they fit well behind my Jeep's door panels, and they are barely noticeable, until you hear them, of course, which you will then be able to know they're there. I just used self-tapping screws and spliced the factory speaker wiring into them, and that saved me money in the long run. If you need replacement speakers and either don't feel like trying to track down factory speakers or don't want to spend a lot of money, then these speakers are for you! (:

Great Bass and Treble Response, Great Midrange Response, 250w Max Power Output, Barely Physically Noticeable, Sound Great, Low Price (:

Bass is a Bit Lacking :(

These speakers sound pretty good. They are a bit tinny and the bass response is not what I expected from the specs. What the specs don't tell you is that the bass response is at -30dB not -3dB like most manufacturers use. So the actual response is down to only about 100Hz at -3dB. A bit disappointing but not bad for the price because the quality makes up for it a bit. Next I will spend the extra $30 and get the Polks. I know for a fact they are speced correctly and sound awesome in my friends car with the same setup I have.

Tinny. Misleading specs.

Installed in Subaru Legacy with no problems. Not a bad speaker for someone who wants to keep the factory head unit that doesn't put out great power. Great for the price.
