These harnesses allow you to plug your new speakers into the factory connectors present in your vehicle's speaker openings.

Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular — see "Accessories."

Includes Crutchfield's 60-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee

Note: Most vehicles will require additional installation parts — please identify your vehicle if you haven’t done so, then check here for a list of parts. You can also call an Advisor for more information.

Features

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Note: Installation tools, hardware, & accessories are not included & sold separately. Please see the Accessories tab for recommendations & availability.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

Wire Code Chart: Two identical Crutchfield speaker harnesses are included.

Toyota speaker harness kit, not for my Subaru Baja...(:(, the terminals are wrong. The good thing is that Subaru's adapter harness on the OEM. speaker, saved the day.

Wires Too Short

Written By CMB, Portland, ME on Friday, February 24, 2012
Installed in a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These wires are too short for speakers that don't have their terminals next to each other. On the Kicker DS60, the terminals are on opposite sides of the speaker. Crutchfield knows this but doesn't want to fix it. Just offer a credit.
Pros:
Plug and Play
Cons:
short wires

Who out there in tv land doesn't like "Plug & Play"?? it you are one of those people then this item isn't for you...sorry! But if you are one of the happy people that enjoy that concept then this item is for you. Just attach one end to your speaker and the other (more sizable ) end to your existing wiring harness and viola!! you are connected!
Pros:
Ease of use!
Cons:
absolutely positivity none!

2006 Honda Accord Speaker Harness

Written By DK, Charleston, SC on Saturday, February 11, 2012
Installed in a 2009 Toyota Corolla
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Worked as intended, but the leads are a little on the short side. I had to strip a section of wire to make them long enough for the connection to the speakers and the location of the factory plugs above the rear deck in the Honda.
Pros:
Factory fit on the plug.
Cons:
Speaker lead was too short to reach the speakers while plugged in to the factory plug. Need the leads to be about 6 inches longer.

Doesn't fit

Written By Lorentz, Knoxville, TN on Saturday, January 21, 2012
Installed in a 2002 Toyota Camry
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Ordered a set of Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S652 6.5" speakers for my Camry, and the supplied wire harnesses were too small to fit over the terminals on the speakers. A quick trip to the auto parrts store to pick up some larger gauge terminals and I was in business. At least the harnesses connected to the factory connectors perfectly.

Seems like a HUGE oversight by Crutchfield's usually dependable research department.
