Features

Weather Resistant: The Oasis MK II uses a weather resistant sealed enclosure to help protect it from the outdoor elements. Although weather resistant, a mounting location should be chosen to protect the speaker from direct exposure to rain, high winds, or sunlight. The speaker is not designed to be submerged underwater.

Woofers: Each speaker uses a 6.5" injection molded polypropylene woofer with a rubber surround.

Tweeter: Each speaker uses a 1" dome tweeter made of Teteron, a durable synthetic material that's impervious to moisture.

Mounting Brackets: The included mounting brackets offer enormous placement flexibility. They're mounted to the top and bottom of the speakers (into 1/4-20 treaded inserts) and allow more than 180° rotation after mounting, letting you direct the sound to different areas as needed. If the speakers are mounted vertically, the brackets allow them to swivel side to side. If the speakers are mounted horizontally, they swivel up and down. The bracket adds approximately 1" to the height and depth of the speaker. There are also two 6mm threaded inserts on the back of the speaker cabinet, 60mm apart, for use with an optional aftermarket mounting bracket.

Speaker Connections: The speakers use spring-loaded post terminals for easy connection of bare speaker wire up to 10 gauge, or angled pin connectors. The terminals are recessed far enough that most banana plugs will not fit. Spade lugs will not work on this type of terminal and the posts are too far apart for dual banana plugs. The speakers include two 50' lengths of white 18-gauge speaker wire.
