About the Westinghouse TX-47F430S
The 47" Westinghouse TX-47F430S has three key features you rarely find on the same TV: an excellent picture, future-ready connections ... and a bargain price. This set's 1080p screen resolution is the highest available and is quickly becoming the high-definition standard. When 1080p is this affordable, there's no reason to compromise with anything less.
Built-in tuners for over-the-air and cable TV signals
The built-in tuner receives both digital and analog over-the-air broadcasts from your local stations. You can keep enjoying non-digital programs the same as always until the nationwide switchover in 2009, but you'll really be knocked out by the snow- and ghost-free images that digital broadcasts deliver. Cable TV subscribers can use this set's "QAM" tuner to watch unscrambled cable channels.
Plenty of inputs with convenient auto source switching
Westinghouse's back-panel jack pack provides easy side access to all connections while the TV remains on a wall or shelf. You'll find 4 HDMI inputs and two component video inputs all compatible with 1080p signals, so you're ready for the future. Convenient automatic source detection and switching makes your A/V system easier to use. When you turn on a new component, the TV automatically switches to that input.
