Features
Overview: The iHome iP3 stereo speaker system for iPhone and
iPod offers a refined look with great sound. The iP3 features Bongiovi Digital
Power Station technology coupled with 50 watts of power and best-in-class
coaxial neodymium speakers for sound that has to be heard to be appreciated
Stereo Speakers: The iHome iP3 features two state-of-the-art 3.5"
coaxial neodymium speakers that deliver stereo sound.
Digital Amplifier: The iHome iP3's digital amplifier provides clean,
efficient, distortion-free sound.
Bongiovi Acoustics Digital Power Station: Bongiovi Acoustics DPS is a
real-time digital signal processing technology that extends audio bandwidth and
adds missing harmonics without adding peak output to the signal. It effectively
improves brightness, clarity and presence and delivers deeper, more resonant
bass and crystal clear highs to your compressed music.
Adjustable EQ: The iHome iP3 offers a built-in EQ which
allows you to adjust Bass & Treble settings to customize your sound.
iPod/iPhone Dock: The iHome iP3 has an integrated
iPod/iPhone dock to charge and play back audio from your iPod or iPhone. The
iP3 also offers playback controls for your docked iPod/iPhone. You can even
output video from your docked iPod/iPhone to your television. Docking an already
playing iPod or iPhone will automatically turn on the iHome iP3.
- Audio Playback: The iHome iP3 supports playback of your
iPod's or iPhone's audio files through its integrated dock connector.
- Video Output: The iHome iP3 is capable of outputting video stored on
your docked iPod/iPhone to your television via a component video or composite
video cable (sold separately).
- Remote Control: The iHome iP3 includes an IR remote control for
wireless operation of the system as well as music navigation from your
compatible iPod or iPhone. You can still control your iPod/iPhone its clickwheel
or touchscreen.
- Information Display: All song information will still be
viewed from your iPod or iPhone.
- Charging: The iHome iP3 will charge your docked iPod or
iPhone.
Note: If your iPod/iPhone has no initial battery charge, then this
unit will not recognize it.

change functionality results. If you download a newer software
version, you may need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone
to regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to
revert to the older software version or wait until an newer
software update is available. Not compatible with iOS 4.0 update
for iPhone and iPod touch.
Auxiliary Input: The iHome iP3 is equipped with a rear-panel
3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting an external audio source such as your MP3
player or laptop.
Power Requirements: The iHome iP3 operates off of standard
household AC current using the supplied AC power adapter (100-240V) and AC power
cord.
