Features
Marine-ready: The Kicker KM6200 Marine Coaxial Speakers are
engineered to meet or exceed industry standards for environmental humidity and
corrosion, and for material degradation due to UV exposure. The speakers feature
sealed motors, cones, and locking terminal covers. UV treatments on the cones,
surrounds, baskets, and grilles help them last in freshwater or saltwater
environments.
MAXBasket Geometry: The speakers are engineered using Kicker's
MAXBasket Geometry, meaning an oversized, louder 6.5" cone performs in a
speaker basket designed for a smaller 5" cutout.
Injection-molded Woofer Cone: The injection-molded polypropylene
cones have excellent UV, pollution, and moisture resistance. For increased durability,
the midranges use Santoprene surrounds.
Integrated Grilles: The KM6200s come with a water-resistant,
bolt-through, high-impact plastic grille with the 3/4" titanium-domed tweeter
permanently mounted in the center of the grille. Note: The
grilles are not designed to be removed.
Magnetic Shielding: The KM6200s are engineered with the highest
level of magnetic shielding available, minimizing compass and gauge deviation in your
dash.
Terminal Cover: The speakers feature splash- and spray-resistant
locking terminal covers. These covers have water-resistant gaskets to prevent terminal
corrosion and electrical shorting.
Stainless Hardware: The provided hardware is forged from
corrosion-proof 316L stainless steel.
