Product Overview: The On-Q In Wall IEEE 802.11g Wireless Access Point (WAP) gives you broad coverage helps create multiple localized hot spots throughout your home. A Cat 5 power injector and power supply are also included.

Installation Highlights: This WAP mounts discreetly into the wall, and installs into a triple-gang box (not supplied). The power and signal are fed into the unit via a single Cat 5 cable. It is recommended that the unit should be located on the top floor of your home. If multiple WAPs are used, they should be located in order to create overlapping wireless zones.

Power Over Cat 5 Injector: The supplied WAP Power Over Cat 5 Inserter Module combines the signal from a Network Interface Module with a 24-volt power supply onto the single Cat 5 cable that plugs into the WAP. The power injector has an RJ45 "Data In" jack and a DC power plug (for the supplied 24-volt power supply), plus a Data/Power Out Jack (RJ45) for the connection to the WAP. The injector comes installed in a metal mounting bracket designed to be installed into a standard On-Q enclosure. Dimensions--in bracket: Width=6.43", Height=2.315", Depth=3.61"
