Got it with my Pioneer DEH-2400UB. Suggested by Crutchfield and so thought it would be a perfect fit. Color is fine, but it doesn't fit the climate control plate at all. I had to bend it very hard to put into the two sockets at the bottom. Now I got Metra kit which is a much better fit and also much cheaper. Crutchfield, I'm disappointed. Recommend a better kit next time.

Cons:

Doesn't fit with 2003 NIssan Sentra Limited Edition.

Easy fit. Cheaper than buying from other places.

Pros:

Can be bought with wire harness as a kit to save money. Color is a 90% match.

Cons:

Not 100% fit. There are 1/8" gaps around the receiver.

Color slightly off (listed as metallic) but not horrible. Fit is decent - again, not great. Really hated that the stereo mounts behind it instead of through using the DIN hardware. Radio trim will not fit and it leaves a gap around the face. Would not have been acceptable if I was using this in my own car. The car's owner didn't care as long as the radio works.

Pros:

Price and ability to order with the stereo

Cons:

Overall quality

This peice of crap wouldn't snap into the climate control face plate correctly one side or the other would snap in but not both. I had to "modify" the living bejesus out if to get a half way decent fit....What a let down. I was excited about my new cd player, and this definately ruined the excitement. I am glad I ordered the "metallic" color.....even thought that is black, they can't label it with the right color....I'll never order the face plate from Crutchfield again...They should really consider a different vendor.

Pros:

I got to finally use the Dremel I got for Christmas 4 years ago.

Cons:

Doesn't even hardly do what it's supposed to. It holds the deck ok...but doesn't look flush at all. Go with a different brand face plate for this specific car model.

I have to give this a 3. Installed in 2001 nissan Sentra SE 2.0L. A lot of people seem to have great luck with this, I did not. The color is not a perfect match, but that doesn't bother me. My problem was the fit. The climate control trim does not snap into the bottom on both sides, only could get one side or the other to snap. When you have the mating of the Scosche trim and climate control trim lined up, it is precarious. Meaning it cant be touched or will separate, which is just what happens when you put the upper trim back on. Quite a few people have said it works perfectly, and others say the Metra model fits perfectly, so I will try that next. All in all it works, but not well for me.

Pros:

Free from Crutchfield with my receiver purchase, so worth a shot.

Cons:

Exact color is off but expected. Fit seems to vary between identical model vehicles.

2003 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V

This was a great product. Made my aftermarket radio fit like a glove and the color matched great. Fit so tight I didn't even have to use the trim ring. A must have for an aftermarket radio install in the Spec V's.

my Sony CDX-GT56UI fit the dash kit perfectly, but the dash kit was difficult to put on the climate control trim, other than that the installation was simple

color matches, perfect fit for my stereo

Color Matched faceplate!

The faceplate was excellent! Except for my particular install where the out part of the faceplate does not attach itself to the CD player just as the factory radio was installed. But, I don't believe that there is any other option for it to work than the way it is. The color was a perfect match and the radio looks great in the dash! Sometimes with the new styles of the inside of the cars/trucks, it is difficult to get a new dash kit and make it look great! But this dash kit looks great! I can't wait to get in my car and drive home because I know what is waiting for me!

There isn't much to say about this adapter. It came free with my purchase, and it was so ugly I didn't use it.

I'm particularly critical about how the my dash looks-- I prefer a nice clean install. The finish on this does not match the factory texture or color at all, and so I just installed my stereo in the lower DIN. It would probably work, but it is not worth my effort to destroy the look of my car with this.

Nice Look, Decent Fit

2001 Nissan Sentra. Worked okay and ended with a nice look and decent fit. Had to do some slight trimming of the tab clips on the piece. Due to the curved nature of the factory piece, and the location of the tabs, the plastic corners of the tab clips was holding the piece from snapping in properly for a secure and flush fit. I CAREFULLY trimmed the corners on my grinder. A couple minutes and about two or three test fits, but end result was good. Just don't get carried away and get to aggressive trimming or you could ruin the trim piece.

The kit required a little trimming, but the fit is very good. I may remove it
later and use epoxy so that there is a factory fit. Time will tell if this will
become necessary. Otherwise this is a great item.

My last deck purchased from Crutchfield in 2003 was a Pioneer 5500, and it came with a
free American International install kit. That one fit perfectly and the color was a near perfect
match. This time, I ordered a new deck and it came with this Scosche kit. I knew I could
just reuse the old kit, but I ordered it because it was free and I had hoped it would be a
perfect color match. Well, it wasn't a perfect match and the fit was terrible. The two clips
that secure the kit to the factory piece are too big. The two pieces can't even snap together
properly. My verdict is that Crutchfield should have stuck wit the Am. Intn'l kit for this
particular vehicle.
