Overview: The SLIK LIGHTY POD III is designed for use with lightweight digital or film SLR and compact cameras. The LIGHTY POD III features all metal construction, 5 section-legs with speed-release leg-locks, and an included SLIK SBH-100 Ball-Head. A single lever locks and releases the all-metal ball-head so the camera is capable of being positioned at almost any angle then locked into place. When fully extended the LIGHTY POD III is almost 63 inches tall, and it folds down to a very compact 20.5 inches. The lightweight aluminum leg sections have an indented groove that prevents the individual sections from turning during set-up or folding down, keeping the legs sections perfectly aligned. The LIGHTY POD III provides a urethane grip and nylon carrying strap.
