Overview: The Pro.Fit. miCRADLE 4 & UltiMount V2 lets you mount your Apple iPhone 4 to your vehicle's dash or console and angle it for best usability in the car.

miCRADLE 4 Holder: The Pro.Fit miCRADLE 4 is a holder specifically designed to fit the Apple iPhone 4. This custom holder is lined with felt for a scratch free, snug fit. The miCRADLE 4 attaches to the included Bike Mount with the included hardware.

Note: It is not compatible with skins or cases for iPhone 4.

UltiMount V2: The Pro.Fit UltiMount V2 is designed to be mounted in one of several orientations on the dash or console of your vehicle. The mount provides a mounting plate with the standard AMPS bolt pattern (1-1/2" x 1-3/16") for attaching the included miCRADLE 4 Holder (for iPhone 4).

Mounting Options: Since the UltiMount V2 attaches with an adhesive pad, no drilling is necessary. If desired, the round adhesive FlexPad can be removed and placed on the opposite side of the extension arm. For a more permanent installation, the FlexPad can be removed and replaced by the supplied bolt-on base. The UltiMount has a ball-and-socket adjustment that gives you great flexibility in positioning your device. Once positioned, you can lock the UltiMount to hold it in place.

Flex-Pad: The UltiMount V2 adheres to the mounting surface with the Flex Pad featuring a strong 3M adhesive. The mounting surface will need to be prepared prior to mounting the Flex Pad. The supplied Surface Preparation Cleaning kit and Alcohol Prep pad will remove dirt, oils, and silicone-based emulsions (such as Armor-All) from the mounting surface to assure a secure installation. To allow you to move the UltiMount V2 to another vehicle, you can purchase additional Flex Pads (item # 042747FP10).

Note: The flex pad's 3M adhesive is a one-time stick application.

Holds my Iphone 4s nice and tight, can see the screen while driving and its not blurry from vibations.

Pros:

Easy to install, great movement for adjusting.

Cons:

Wished I could keep my Iphone 4s in its case and put it in holder. It only holds a bare Iphone.

Overall this item is OK. It does hold my iPhone 4S securely. However, getting it to work correctly was a bit of a problem. 1) An iPhone 4S with any type of protective case on it will not fit unless you remove all the felt pad bumpers. Not really an issue, since they're only there to protect a phone not in a case. 2) The connector cable from my JVC would not stay in due to the angle caused by the access at the bottom. A little trimming with an exact knife took care of that.

All in all, I'd say I'm 90% happy with it. As with a lot of things, it needs a little customization to make it exactly what you want. But, I have tried 7 or 8 different iPhone holders of various prices, and this one is the most secure for the $$.

Pros:

VERY sturdy construction, holds phone securely enough that it does not shake.

Cons:

Nothing that make it a deal breaker.

Well I was i little worried that the one I was getting was an open box item however once I corrected the problem with how it was configured the first time, It works better than I could have hoped for. There isn't a lot of free area on the new Superduty dashes but I managed to slip it in just below one of the air vents.

I bought this due to the fact that my Honda Accord didn't have any custom mounts available
for it. I was delightfully surprised after I got it completely installed on how sturdy it is. Now, be
sure to follow the instructions. You need to affix the adhesive pad and leave it for at least 72
hours before you attach the cradle and actually use it. I'm so glad I did. It's as sturdy as a
rock. This thing has a lot of felt to protect the iPhone, so I don't really think it would fit with any
type of case. Bottom line: I couldn't be happier with it!
