Overview: The Nikon 1 Nikkor 18.5mm f/1.8 lens is the fastest lens in the 1 Nikkor lineup, and is optimized for general photography, such as portraits, group shots, and landscapes, as well as HD videos. It is exclusively for Nikon 1 interchangeable lens format digital cameras, such as the J2, J1, V2, and V1. The angle of view is equivalent to a 35mm format lens with a focal length of 50mm. It comes with the LC-N40.5 snap-on 40.5mm front lens cap, and the LF-N1000 rear lens cap.

Optics: The 1 Nikkor 18.5mm lens is considered a rear focusing lens. The lens utilizes 1 Aspherical (AS) element to correct or eliminate certain types of lens aberrations.

Diaphragm: The lens is equipped with a rounded 7-blade diaphragm to provide softly blurred backgrounds for portraits.
