Features
Overview: The PXAMG Media Gateway Satellite Radio interface
allows you to control a SiriusConnect SC-C1 tuner from your factory radio in select
vehicles. The Media Gateway offers a line level input directly into the factory
system and eliminates the use of RF modulators. The SC-C1 tuner is controlled by
the factory radio and the satellite text information is displayed on the radio.
All the features included with the factory system are retained.
Vehicle Compatibility: The supplied harness is compatible with
select Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. If your vehicle has a separate LCD screen, the supplied PGHFD1A harness will be required to enable the screen to display the information. There are several
restrictions, so please check the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to determine
compatibility with your specific vehicle.
Vehicle Specific Harness: The included PGHFD1 harness is vehicle
specific; one end connects between the factory radio and factory wiring harness, the
other end plugs into the PXAMG interface. In the cases where the PGHFD1A harness is
also used, it connects between the PGHFD1 and the factory LCD display.
Satellite Tuner Compatibility: This Satellite Radio interface
is specifically designed for use with the SiriusConnect SC-C1 universal vehicle
tuner.
Radio Display: The radio display will show the text information
broadcast by SIRIUS; program, artist, song, etc.
Auxiliary Input: In addition to the SC-C1 input, the Media
Gateway interface has an auxiliary input for another source; DVD player, MP3
player, etc. The auxiliary input cable has female stereo RCA jacks and a 3.5mm
male stereo mini-jack (only one of these should be used). The RCA jacks are on
a 10" cable and the mini-jack is on a 6' cable.

Recycle
Harnesses: Any unused harnesses can be returned to Peripheral
for recycling in the included pre-addressed box (postage required). In this case
no extra cables are included, only the auxiliary input cable isn't necessary.
