As its name suggests, the Monster Cable iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 lets you play music from your iPod, iPad, or iPhone through your car receiver via its minijack aux input. (Not all car stereos have an aux input, so please check before ordering.) The Direct Connect 2000 works with any Apple portable with a 30-pin dock connector. Stereo minijack cable runs from the Direct Connect to your receiver, and plugs into its auxiliary input. It features a retractable stereo mini cable for connection to your receiver, ensuring it won't get tangled or clutter up your dashboard.

The Direct Connect 2000 plugs into your car's 12-volt outlet to keep your Apple device charged, with built-in protection against overcharging. The mounted control panel let you play, pause and skip tracks without taking your eyes of the road.

Simply plug the iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 into your vehicle's 12-volt/cigarette lighter adapter port and your in-dash head unit's 3.5mm auxiliary input. The iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000's dock-connector plugs into your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad device.

Smart Digital Charger Technology: The iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 has ten watts of total power and a high 2.1 amperage to ensure a quick charge for your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad. Smart Digital Charger Technology detects when the battery is full and reduces current to help prolong battery life.

Playback Controls: The Monster iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 features integrated playback controls on it 12-volt/cigarette lighter adapter. Playback controls include - Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Rewind, & Previous/Next Track.

Apple Device Compatibility: The Monster iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 supports Apple iPod, iPhones, and iPads with 30-pin dock connectors. Compatible models include - iPod video (5th gen), iPod classic (80/120/160GB), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th gen), iPod touch (1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPhone (2G/3G/3GS/4/4S), and iPad (1/2/3).

Note: The Monster iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 does not support the new Apple iPod, iPhones, and iPads with Lightning-connectors.
