Overview: The smc Pentax-DA Fish-eye 10-17mm F3.5-4.5ED (IF) is a fish-eye zoom lens for Pentax D-SLR and interchangeable lens cameras. The lens has a 180° maximum angle of view for wide panoramic scenes, as well as for the artistic lines and curves that only a Fish-eye lens can deliver.

Lens Mount: The lens has a KAF-mount, and can fit Pentax D-SLR and interchangeable lens cameras with KAF, KAF2 and KAF3 mounts. This includes the Pentax K-5 and K-01 cameras.

Quick Shift Focus: The Quick Shift Focusing System allows for instant switching from Auto to Manual focus. If focus is set to Auto, you can focus manually after autofocus is achieved by manually turning the focusing ring. This can be done without changing the focus mode to Manual.

ED Glass: The Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass lens element offers superior sharpness with minimum chromatic and spherical aberration.

Super Protect: The Pentax-original SP (Super Protect) coating repels dust, water, and grease to help keep the lens clean.
