Features
Woofer: The SC60 component system is equipped with copolymer
woofers with butyl rubber surrounds. Each woofer has a neodymium magnet, which
has a high power-to-weight ratio and a compact size about one-tenth the size of
traditional iron-ferrite magnets.
Tweeter: The SC60 component system features 3/4" Type
S2 Kortec soft-dome tweeters for a smooth high frequency response and linearity.
Kortec is a silky fabric saturated on the underside with a proprietary stiffening
agent. Because the inside surface of the dome is ultra stiff, the tweeter tracks
the signal with ease and produces an excellent transient attack. Simultaneously,
the soft, self-dampening top layer eliminates unwanted resonance, so the sound
is smooth and articulate. The tweeters come with angled/flush and angled/surface
mounting brackets.

Crossover: The SC60 system comes with adjustable two-way
crossovers. The two crossovers can be mounted separately or docked together and
mounted as one piece. You can adjust the tweeter output by placing the supplied
jumper on the appropriate terminals; select 0dB (un-attenuated tweeter output),
or an attenuated output of -2dB or -4dB. The factory default position is 0dB.

Installation: The compact size of the magnet allows SC
series speakers to fit where other high quality speakers don't. Neodymium
magnets offer extraordinary power-to-weight ratio, approximately ten times
the magnetic strength of a conventional iron-ferrite magnet of equal size.
VariMount: The Boston SC60s come with several mounting
adapters, making it possible to drop the speakers into 6-1/2" and
6-3/4" factory locations. 7⁄16" spacers are also included.
