Features

Overview: The Code Alarm DLRKP door lock module will allow you to interface to all typical door lock circuits using 5-wire switching (polarity reversal), 3-wire switching (both positive-switched and negative-switched), and those circuits requiring a resistor. The module has a built-in variable resistor (300Ω to 10,000Ω) and a pair of jumpers, which, when properly configured for your vehicle, will control the door lock and/or the vehicle factory alarm circuits.

Mounting Location: The control module is typically mounted under the dashboard, in a central location where you can access the door lock wires. In addition, the included 3-pin interconnect harness will be routed and plugged into the mating connector of the controlling Code Alarm keyless entry module or car alarm.

Systems Requiring an Actuator: Some vehicles (typically Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Volvo, Saab and Subaru) use a central locking system that utilize a mechanical lever in the driver's door which manually moves an electric switch by the key outside or the lever inside, causing all other doors to lock or unlock, depending upon the direction the key is turned or the lever is moved. In these applications, a door lock actuator, such as the Code Alarm DA1 (220DA1), is required. The DA1 will replicate the action of the outside key or inside lever.
