Loose Fit

Overall the fit was good, however: the plastic mounting clips at the base didn't grab and hold like the ones that came with the car. The screws at the base are whats holding it in place. The surface of the Ford Focus In-dash Receiver Kit, has a ruff feel to it, unlike the polished smooth feel of the one that came with the car.

Matches interior and easy install.
Cons:
could have more and better clips like factory had and a better fit at the vents, finish seems rough and may scratch easy. Will see how it holds up.

Kit arrived as scheduled, installation was fairly easy, fits fairly well (a few
gaps, such as under the middle air vent) a few scuffs on the front face and the
pocket. Other than that, good buy.

This was my only option to add after market parts to my car. Everything fits nicely into this dash kit. However, it scratches if you blow on it which is awful. It does install fairly easy for a first time dash install. The air vents don't fit in they snap and semi lock but that's it. Most of the dash even with the arrow snap pieces its still semi loose fitting. In order to use the metal sleeve that comes with a cd player you have to do some modification to it and the kit itself (cutting, come grinding) otherwise you have to use the built in plastic mounts which are impossible to remove without taking the dash a apart. Not to mention the cd player is recessed quit a bit... Still a good solution.
