Our take on the Fusion Research Expansion Hard Drive

This expansion drive is a 4TB external hard drive that connects to the Fusion Research Rocket Movie Server via a USB connection, allowing you to add movie storage capacity. It comes pre-loaded with special software which allows it to seamlessly communicate with the Rocket server.

You will need to call or email Fusion Research to have the drive activated once it is connected to the server. This drive should increase storage capacity by approximately 550 DVDs or 125 Blu-rays. You can add multiple expansion drives to keep up with your collection as it grows.

    Features

    Compatibility: The Fusion Research External Hard Drive (FR-4TBEM) lets you add on additional storage to your Fusion Research Rocket Movie Server (810RKT15TB, sold separately).

    Capacity: The Fusion Research external hard drive contains 4.0 TB of storage capacity.

    USB Port: The Fusion Research external hard drive is equipped with USB (type-B) port and includes a 47" USB cable (with a male USB type-B connector on one end and a male USB type-A connector on other end).

    Simple Installation: Simply connect the external drive via USB to your Fusion Research Rocket Movie Server and make sure both units are powered on. There is special software loaded to allow the two units to communication with each other.

    Activation Required: Once you have connected and installed the external hard drive to your Rocket Movie Server, email (support@fusionrd.com) or call (925.217.1233) Fusion Research with the serial number of the storage device and your Rocket Movie Server.

    Note: Fusion Research customer service hours - 8am to 4:30pm PST (M-F).

    Cooling Fan: There is a built-in fan on the rear-panel of the external hard drive. There is also a rear-panel switch that turns this fan On or Off.

    Power Switch: The external hard drive's power switch is located on the rear panel. 

    AC Power Adapter: The Fusion Research external hard drive (FR-4TBEM) operates off of standard household AC current using the supplied AC power adapter.

    Stand: The Fusion Research FR-4TBEM comes with a plastic stand to securely mount the hard drive on a flat surface.
