2-Way Speaker System: The TEAC LS-H255 bookshelf loudspeakers features
a two-way design that employs a single 5" mid-woofer paired with a single
1" dome tweeter. The result is an extremely accurate sound with excellent
imaging characteristics.
1" Tweeter: Each TEAC LS-H255 bookshelf loudspeaker is
equipped with a 1" dome tweeter for crisp, clear highs.
5" Woofer: Each LS-H255 bookshelf speaker employs a 5"
textured paper cone woofer with a treated cloth surround for accurate, detailed midbass.
Enclosure Design
Bass Reflex Enclosure: The TEAC LS-H255 bookshelf loudspeakers employ a
bass reflex enclosure with a rear-firing port for greater efficiency and bigger
bass response.
Black Wood Grain Veneer Cabinet: The TEAC LS-H255 features a
black wood-grain veneer cabinet.
Detachable Grille: The TEAC bookshelf loudspeakers come with
detachable black cloth grilles.
Connections
5-Way Binding Posts: The 5-way binding posts will accept bare wire (up to
10-gauge), pin connectors, spade connectors, and banana plugs (single or dual).
Color-Coded: The speaker's binding posts are color-coded
(red/black) for easy identification between positive and negative.
Speaker Wire: Two 6' lengths of 20-gauge speaker are supplied.
Mounting Options
Table-Top Mounting: The TEAC LS-H255 bookshelf loudspeakers
can simply be placed on a speaker stand, shelf, table, desk, or any other flat
surface. The speakers do not include an rubber feet.
Wall Mounting: The optional PinPoint heavy duty side-grip
wall-mounting bracket (121AM40B,
sold separately) can be used to wall mount the speakers.
Note: The speakers do not include any type of wall-mount bracket,
threaded inserts,
or keyhole slots.
