One of the best things about working for Crutchfield is the constant opportunity to learn about advances in technology and how they make our daily lives easier and, perhaps more importantly, fun. One of the first things I did when I started working here was to build my own 5.1 Home Theater system. I built the system from scratch (I had a tube TV when I started!), and on a pretty tight budget too, adding one or two pieces at a time until it was complete. Two years later, I'm thrilled with it and spend a large amount of my free time enjoying it. I still get chills when I watch one of my favorite movies and get to hear the realistic surround effects that were missing before. Seriously, good sound never gets old, be it in your home or in your car. I am also a beginning photography enthusiast and would love to get my hands on a digital SLR camera to take my photography to the next level.
