Features
Overview: The Samsung SEF20A external flash unit is designed
for use with the Samsung NX-series and the TL500 digital cameras.
Power Requirements: The SEF20A is powered by 2 "AA" alkaline or
Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries. With "AA" alkaline
batteries, you can get approximately 120 flashes, and the recycling time is
approximately 6-60 seconds between flashes. If "AA" Ni-MH batteries are used,
you can get approximately 200 flashes with a 5-60 second recycling time.
Flash Angles: If you wish to use bounced flash, you can adjust the
angle of the flash unit vertically to 45°, 60°,
75°, and 90°.
Bounced flash creates less shadow than direct flash, and the light is more
uniformly distributed to the subject.
EV Adjust: You can adjust the amount of flash light from -1.0 EV to
+1.0 EV in 1/3 EV increments. The intensity can be adjusted using the EV Adjust
button on the back panel of the flash. A row of LEDs will indicate the selected
amount of flash in 1/3 EV increments.
Flash Stand: When not using the flash, you can store it on the
included stand. The flash unit is supported by its hot-shoe connection on the
stand.
