Features
Overview: The Beats
Executive headphones are designed for business or more formal occasions. They
have a sleek stainless steel and aluminum design with plush padded headband and
earcups. They can be used for listening to music, or for carrying on a
conversation on your smartphone.
Active Noise Cancellation: The Executive features
battery-powered Active Noise Cancellation to shut out ambient noise so you can
hear your music or conversation without outside interruption. Two "AAA" alkaline
batteries (included) can be inserted into the left earcup to power the ANC.
On/Off Switch/Mute: The right earcup has an on/off switch.
Moving the switch to the On position turns on the audio and the active noise
cancellation. A green LED glows to indicate the power is turned on. In the Off
position, there is no audio, no active noise cancellation, and the LED is off.
The right earcup also has a mute button: press once to mute the audio; press
again to un-mute.
Rotating Earcups:
The earcup arms can rotate 90°
in one direction, and will fold in for storage or packing in a suitcase.
Input: The Beats Executive has a 3.5mm input jack on the
left earcup for plugging in the audio cable.
Dual Cables: The headphones include two 54" cables--one with
an in-line remote/microphone, and one without. Both cables have a straight 3.5mm
plug (headphone input) and a right-angled 3.5mm plug (phone/player output). A
3.5mm-to-1/4" plug adapter is included for connecting to devices with a
full-sized headphone jack. The cable with the in-line remote and microphone
can be used with a smartphone to answer and disconnect phone calls, and to pick
up your end of the conversation. The remote can also control playback of your
music on a digital media device. The remote controls are compatible with iPod, iPhone, and
iPad for volume up/down, play/pause, next/previous track, fast forward/fast
reverse, answer/hang up calls, and voice command. Limited functionality exists
with HTC, Blackberry, and Android devices for play/pause, answer/hang up calls,
and voice command.
Included Accessories: The Beats Executive comes with a 4" square
cleaning cloth, an airline adapter, and a zippered hard shell carrying case.
