    Overview: The Sennheiser BTD 300i is a Bluetooth stereo audio transmitter dongle with an Apple 30-pin iPod/iPhone connector for select Apple iPods and iPhones. If your iPod/iPhone does not support the Blue stereo audio profile (A2DP) or the Bluetooth audio/video remote control profile (AVRCP), you can use the BTD 300i adapter to wirelessly stream audio from the iPod/iPhone to another Bluetooth enabled component in your home. The BTD 300i allows you to extend the functionality of your iPod/Phone by adding support for these Bluetooth profiles.

    Bluetooth Technology: Wireless Bluetooth technology provides an interface for wireless communication (over 2.4GHz radio frequency) between your iPod/iPhone and other Bluetooth enabled devices.

    Bluetooth Profiles: The Sennheiser BTD 300i features Bluetooth version 2.0 + EDR and supports the following Bluetooth profiles.

    • A2DP: Wireless stereo music streaming.
    • AVRCP: Wireless remote control playback functions.

    Note: The BTD 300i can save the connection profiles of up to 5 Bluetooth enabled devices.

    Bluetooth Range: The BTD 300i has a Bluetooth wireless range of 30-feet (10m).

    Connector Type: The BTD 300i features a proprietary Apple 30-pin iPod/iPhone connector to plug into your Apple iPod or iPhone.

    iPod Compatibility: The Sennheiser BTD 300i is only compatible with the following iPods/iPhones.

    • iPod video (5th generation)
    • iPod mini (1st/2nd generation)
    • iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th generation)
    • iPod classic (80/120/160GB)

    This little gadget plugs into my iPod perfectly and enables clear music transmission through a Bluetooth receiver to my two hearing aids. Music now sounds almost as good as before my severe hearing loss began.
