Overview: The Clarion BLT370 is a hands-free car kit featuring Bluetooth wireless technology that allows you to utilize your Clarion headunit and car's built-in audio system for wireless music streaming and wireless hands-free communication from your mobile phone.

Compatibility: The Clarion BLT370 Bluetooth Interface supports Bluetooth's version 1.2 and is compatible with any Clarion radio that features an auxiliary input and a telephone interrupt function. The BLT370 is currently compatible with all 2007-up Clarion headunits that feature the TEL and AUX function. Visit the Clarion website for phone compatibility.

Bluetooth Wireless Technology: The Bluetooth wireless technology enables voice and data to be sent via a short-distant digital radio link up to approximately 33 feet. As such, it extends the wireless communication possibilities for mobile phones and hundreds of electronic devices and ensures crisp, static-free audio performance. The BLT370 is compatible with most Bluetooth enabled mobile phones, including the Apple iPhone. It  supports the following Bluetooth wireless technology profiles.

• HFP/HSP: Wireless hands-free and headset communication for your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone
• A2DP/AVRCP: Wireless stereo music streaming and remote control functions (start/play/stop/pause/volume/track search) from your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone

Bluetooth Transceiver: The BLT370 Transceiver unit is used to receive audio signals via Bluetooth wireless technology from other Bluetooth enabled devices and stream them to you car's audio system. The Bluetooth module consists of a built-in microphone, external microphone 2.5mm input, Blue/Red LED window, Answer/Playback buttons, volume controls and a Left/Right audio switch. The module has an attached 8.5' cord which features a stereo RCA auxiliary output, a 12-volt power wire (with an LC box attached), a ground wire, and a Tele-interrupt wire. The power and ground wires connect to your car's 12-volt source's power and ground connections; the Tele-interrupt wire connects to your car stereo's telephone mute lead; the RCA auxiliary output plugs into your headunit's auxiliary input via RCA or miniplug (using the supplied RCA to minijack adapter). The Bluetooth module comes with a visor-clip to mount it to your driver side sun-visor (the internal microphone should be facing towards the user when installed). 

Acoustic Echo Cancellation: The advanced built-in DSP-base Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) system is capable of handling full-duplex communication, echo cancellation, and noise suppression on the microphone input to enable smooth hands-free communication and clear speech.

Calls: When making a call you will still use your mobile phone's keypad to dial out. Once you press the "Send" button your phone becomes connected with the BLT370 Transceiver and your car's stereo system will be muted so you can begin your wireless conversation using the BLT370's built-in microphone to speak through and your vehicle's speakers to hear the other person. During an incoming call, a ringing tone will be heard through your vehicle's speakers and your music will be muted. The unit's red/blue LED will blink quickly during an incoming call until you answer by simply pressing the "Green" answer button on the BLT370. Any music playing will be temporarily muted until the call is ended or rejected by pressing the "Red" call-end button. You can simply reject an incoming call without answering it by pressing the "Red" call-end button on the unit while your phone is ringing. You can also transfer calls between the BLT370 and your mobile phone in a case where you want more privacy on the phone.

Music Streaming And Playback Control: The BLT370 supports wireless music streaming for transferring stereo music audio data that is processed as a steady and continuous audible stream from your Bluetooth enabled phone to your Clarion headunit and car's audio system. You can listen to and control music stored on your phone. The BLT370 lets you control the following playback functions from your Bluetooth compatible phone - Play, Pause, Stop, Track Search. You can adjust the speaker volume during music streaming between 19 different volume levels to match your other source's volume through your car's audio system.
