Features
500W RMS/800W Peak 5.1ch System: The AudioXperts 4TV model 5122 is
a two-piece, 5.1ch music & surround sound system. The model 5122 includes a true
5.1-channel surround sound console and a separate wireless powered subwoofer.
The model 5122 provides 500 watts (RMS) and 800 watts (Peak) of system
power for exceptional dynamic range. The speaker system supports Dolby Digital/DTS
decoding and provides virtual surround for 2ch sources. The system features a
host of connection and control options, as well as iPod/iPhone and Bluetooth
music streaming capabilities. The AudioXperts 4TV model 5122 integrates perfectly with
today's flat-panel LCD & Plasma televisions.
- Surround Sound Console (13 Custom Drivers): The 5.1ch surround sound console provides "component-level" 5.1ch audio performance and is designed to fit directly
under your flat-panel television, or on top of a furniture cabinet below a
wall hung flat-panel TV. The surround sound console houses three 1" dome
tweeters and six patent-pending HART drivers for the front left/center/right
channels, plus four additional patent-pending HART drivers for dipole
surround channels.
- Wireless Powered Subwoofer (Eight SSHO Woofers): The separate wireless powered subwoofer
houses eight 4.5" SSHO long-throw woofers for deep bass extension. The
powered sub receives its LFE signal wirelessly from the surround sound
console via 5.8GHz. The subwoofer offers independent volume control and
phase switch (0°/180°).
The wireless powered subwoofer
discreetly fits vertically against a wall, horizontally on the floor, or
directly under the main console.
Note: The Surround Sound Console and Wireless Powered
Subwoofer will both need to be connected to an AC outlet via the supplied AC power
cables.
Smoked Glass/Aluminum Enclosures w/ Swivel Base: Both the Surround Sound
Console and Wireless Powered Subwoofer feature an enclosure made of aluminum
and smoked glass. Unlike soundbars and conventional surround sound
systems, which are typically fixed into place, the model 5122 console's
built-in swivel base improves the user's television viewing experience by
allowing you to easily rotate the console and television to the preferred
listening and viewing angle. The audio entertainment console will hold up to
125 lbs with the swivel base, or 175 lbs without the swivel base.
Dolby Digital/DTS Decoding: The AudioXperts 4tv model 5122
system will decode Dolby Digital & DTS soundtracks through
its optical (toslink) and coaxial (RCA) digital audio inputs. The speaker system also
offers stereo RCA and 3.5mm analog audio inputs.
Listening Modes: The model 5122 offers three different
listening modes to best suit your audio/video content and listening preference.
- Movie Mode: Best suited for listening to movies,
sports, and games.
- Music Mode: Best suited for listening to music,
concerts, and music videos.
- Enhanced-Dialogue: Improves dialogue intelligibility
when watching movies, TV show, or news program.
SRS TruVolume: SRS TruVolume provides listeners with
consistent volume level while watching movies, TV programs, and commercials.
iPod Direct USB Port: The AudioXperts model 5122 is equipped
with a rear-panel USB (type-A) port for connection of select Apple iPods,
iPhones, and iPads. Using the unit's rear-panel USB port and the cable that came
with your iPod/iPhone/iPad, you can listen to stored music and music apps from
your compatible Apple device. You will continue to control your music from your
Apple device's clickwheel or touchscreen, and view metadata information from
your iPod/iPhone/iPad's LCD screen (the model 5122 does not offer music control
or metadata display). Your Apple device will be charged during USB connection.
The unit's USB port is only compatible with select Apple iPods, iPhones, and
iPads (it is not compatible with USB thumbdrives or other USB mass
storage class devices). Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad compatibility (as of 3/13/2013):

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the unit and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this
doesn't work, you may need to wait until a newer software update is
available.
AirPort Express Connector: The model 5122 also features a dedicated AirPort Express connector. In combination with one of
the model 5122's optical digital inputs (labeled AirPort Express), the AirPort
Express connector allows you to connect your Apple AirPort Express (sold
separately) for wireless iTunes music streaming of compatible AirPlay iOS
devices.
Bluetooth w/ CSR aptX: The AudioXperts 4tv model 5122 features built-in Bluetooth A2DP with CSR aptX codec for
crystal clear, full bandwidth wireless music streaming. You can wirelessly
stream music from select Apple iPod/iPhone/iPads, Android smartphones/tablets,
Blackberry devices, Computers/Laptops, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Music can be stored on your device or streamed from downloaded apps. You will
continue to control music playback from your Bluetooth-enabled device (not the
model 5122).
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some
Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may
not support all features when used with the model 5122.
Zone Output: The AudioXperts 4tv model 5122 features a Zone
Output which consists of stereo RCA outputs. Using the unit's Zone Output, you
can send an analog or digital audio signal input into the model 5122 to another
audio system; such as your home stereo receiver or set of powered speakers.
Simple Controls: The model 5122 offers convenient top-panel,
touch-sensitive controls. You can also program your television's remote control
to operate the speaker system's volume up/down (there is no remote included).
Trim Level: Use the rear mounted trim switch to adjust the
level of input from your TV or other audio device. Some TVs or devices may have
a weak output signal or the signal strength may be too strong and can create
noise. There are 3 positions on the switch to allow you to adjust to the optimal
setting.
Auto Standby: When there is no audio signal for 10 minutes
the unit will go into a Standby (sleep) low power state specifically designed to
conserve energy.
