Features
Overview: The PinPoint AM40 side clamping bookshelf speaker wall mount
has been designed for traditional wood cabinet bookshelf style speakers that
were not provided with a standard mounting point by the manufacturer. Using a
solid platform with side clamps, the AM40 offers a 90 degree swivel, 7 degree
tilt and can support a speaker 5.5" to 11" wide, up to 13" deep and a maximum of
50 lbs. Side clamps have specialized non-marking, non-slip isolation pads to
provide a safe and secure contact point for the speaker. The AM40 comes with a
decorative cover for the wall plate to conceal mounting screws for a clean
installation. All mounting hardware is included and sold as a pair for mounting
2 speakers.
Note: The AM40 is available only in black.
Clamp-style Speaker Mounting: Speakers are held in place using two
adjustable side clamps. When installed on the side clamps, the included Ultragrip pads allow the side clamps to grip the sides of a speaker securely, with relatively little pressure. For additional security, the supplied 1/2" screws may be used to attach the brackets to the speaker sides or bottom.
Speaker Compatibility: Each bracket will hold speakers from 5.5" to 11" wide
and up to 13"
deep. The bracket will hold speakers up
to 50 lbs.
Tilt and Swivel Adjustability: The bracket platforms may be turned to the
left or right (180 degrees),
and may be tilted from -7 degrees below to 7 degrees above horizontal.
Materials: The bracket parts and wall plate are made of metal finished in a smooth satin
black. The ball joint end cap is plastic.
Wall Mounting: The included wall-mount plates must be secured to a
stud or other solid surface capable of supporting the total of the mount and
speaker.
Note: Attaching the wall-plate to drywall using drywall anchors
will decrease the maximum weight handling and is done at the customers own
risk.
