Features

Overview: The Garmin nüMaps Lifetime subscription gives you the most up-to-date maps for the life of your Garmin GPS unit. For a one-time, single purchase, you can download up to four map updates per year as soon as they become available. It can only be used for a single Garmin GPS unit.

Updates: The updates include the newest map information on streets, highways, and points of interest for the City Navigator NT street maps for North America only. Coverage includes the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Updates for Mexico require a separate map purchase (150MSDMEX). The download can also update the City Navigator North America NT maps on your computer.

Compatible Units: The nüMaps downloads are compatible with the Garmin nüvi series, zūmo series, StreetPilot i5, c330, c340, c530, c550, c580, 7200, 7500, 2720, 2730, 2820, GPSMAP 478, 640, and Quest 2. It can also be used with the Colorado and Oregon hand-held units.

Requirements: In order to receive the map updates, you must have a computer with a USB port and high-speed Internet access. The download can require up to 10 GB free disk space for initial installation and 2 GB disk space after installation. Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • PC:
    • OS: Windows XP SP2 or newer
    • RAM: 1 GB or higher
    • Display: 1024 x 768 or higher, 24-bit color
  • Mac: Any Intel-based MAC or Power PC, G4 Mac
    • OS: OS X 10.4.11 or later
