Video: Sennheiser HD 650 Headphones
Check out Sennheiser's HD 650 headphones. They're a popular choice for discriminating listeners, and feature a comfortable, open-back design.
Hi. Eric with Sennheiser. We're at Crutchfield, and we're talking audiophile headphones. So it's only right that we talk about a classic — the Sennheiser HD 650.
The HD 650 is a completely open design, so some sound will escape this way, and you can maintain some awareness of your ambient noise environment. But the best thing about an open air headphone is that the sound waves are allowed to breathe, and they're given some space to expand and contract as they would in nature. The result is a sound quality that's very much like sitting in front of a finely-tuned set of loudspeakers or studio monitors.
Now the HD 650 features a transducer that has a 300 ohm impedance, so when you mate it with a headphone amplifier or a high-end A/V receiver your music is going to sing. It's a great way to get closer to your music and the sound that was intended during the original recording and mixing process.
The HD 650 features a ten-foot cable that terminates into a ¼" plug. This is ideal for your A/V receiver or headphone amplifier — completely adjustable with plush, thick padding. Very comfortable for the longest listening sessions as you get closer to and rediscover your music collection.
This is assembled in Ireland, and features Sennheiser's world famous sound quality and reliability. There it is-the Sennheiser HD 650. Thanks for checking it out.
