Product Overview:
Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker
system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2"
and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic,
color matched to the factory interior colors, and directly replace the factory
kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo
imaging and staging.
No Grilles: Because no grilles
are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles
supplied with the component system. Note: One of the included
installation guides states that 2 Q-grilles are included. That is not the case
for the C-series Q-Forms.
Compatibility: These Q-Forms
are designed to fit select 1995-2000 GM Full-size trucks. They match the factory Dark Blue interior trim.
The kick panels are also available in Dark Red, Medium Beige, Black, Medium Gray, and Medium Neutral. Note: For each specific vehicle,
please verify compatibility with the "What Fits My Car?" vehicle selector.
Installation Notes
Installation Overview: You will
need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic
Q-Form. A
roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The
tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not
possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the
factory kick panel.
Required Vehicle Modifications:
Because of the proximity of the parking brake pedal to the driver's side kick
panel, you must modify the parking brake pedal. Using two crescent wrenches, you
must carefully bend the parking brake pedal arm so that the pedal pad is
relocated approximately 1-1/2" to the right.
