It features a large touchscreen for easy song selection and playback adjustments. Simply touch the screen to start browsing music according to album, artist, or song. View digital photos on the player's display: you can insert an SD™ card loaded with images into the built-in card slot, or call up pictures from your Facebook™ or Flickr™ accounts. The included remote lets you control playback from the comfort of your couch.

Easy setup with your home network

Built-in Wi-Fi® makes hookup even easier if you've got a wireless router or access point. If you prefer to make a wired connection, use the Squeezebox Touch's Ethernet port. Digital and analog audio outputs let you hook this player up to just about any audio system.

This versatile system lets you access music from many venues — play your computer's digital music collection, listen to Internet radio stations, or subscribe to an online music library like Rhapsody®. The Squeezebox Touch supports today's popular audio formats, including compressed, uncompressed, and even lossless files.

MOG

MOG — over 15 million songs, available instantly

MOG is an award-winning online music service with one of the largest and best-sounding streaming catalogs in the industry. It's the only service to offer all of its music in the 320 kbps MP3 format — that higher bit rate translates to better sound. In fact, we use it frequently in the Crutchfield Labs to test high-end audio gear. MOG's "Primo" service ($9.99/month) gives you unlimited, ad-free access to their extensive music library of over 15 million songs on a wide range of devices including Squeezebox™ network music players, Samsung TVs, your computer, iPad®, iPhone®, and Android™ devices.

Create a multi-room music system

Use additional Squeezebox Touch players or other Squeezebox devices to enjoy music in more areas of your home. If you have a Squeezebox Duet, you can use its LCD remote to control this player and your other Squeezebox music players.

    SqueezeBox

Written By Scott at Extreme, Palm City, Fl on Monday, October 08, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Our resident audio geek feeds the SqueezeBox's digital output into a digital processor in our car audio display. He uses it to play PandoraOne and a hard drive full of lossless files ripped straight from CD. We've found the SqueezeBox easy to use, especially through the iPhone interface.Very neat, very well thought out product.
    Pros:
Remote volume control from iPhone on the digital output!

    Amazing Upgrade

Written By SteveA, Trophy Club, TX on Tuesday, September 11, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a terrific device. I've had the original Squeezebox Duet for several years and have been very happy. Recently, I made upgrades to my stereo system and was reviewing the market for any new features/functions. I discovered that the Touch had both better function (touchscreen) and actually, better sound quality as well. I did quite a bit of research on DAC's (Digital Audio Converter) and found that you can spend $1000 just on a DAC alone - let alone the technology to get store and play the digital music. My quandary was that I didn't have $1000 to spend, but was concerned that I wasn't selling myself short on the DAC side with this device. I still don't know exactly how the DAC on this device compares to $1000 models, but what I CAN say is that hooking this thing up to my Denon system via analog has been spectacular. And much improved over the Duet. I'm happy!!
    Pros:
    - touchscreen operations - very responsive unit, without lags - high quality sound output - intuitive setup and use - digital and analog output options - handsome design
    Cons:
    - iPad software is one generation behind (but it is still usable and you can buy 3rd party apps like iPeng if you want something better)

    Just what I wanated

Written By duxomnium, Middlebury, VT on Friday, May 11, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Just what I wanted, which was something to pick up signals from my wifi, plugging it into stereo set, allowing me to listen to stations across the world (France, Italy, China, UK, Switzerland, as well as stations through US and Canada). It works very well indeed, though for a while I was unable to load the Logitech Media Server, due to a conflict with my ESET anti-virus, and misleading directions from Logitech as to how to fix the problem. I finally figured it out myself, emailed Logitech the correct procedure, and now no problems. I hope they save my solution for the next person in trouble. Sound is fine; occasionally drops out and has to rebuffer, though that's rare. On the whole I'm very pleased (I even have a Swiss station that gives me opera 24 hours a day, if I want it).
    Pros:
Generally easy to set up (but see above for software); good sound.
    Cons:
Though it comes with a Quick start guide, there are no directions as to how to use the system (choosing favorites, search, etc.) For that you have to download a .pdf file, as I discovered when I called Logitech support. Even if Logitech is too cheap to include the Features guide in print, they should at least tell you how to obtain it.

    Squeezebox Touch

Written By EE, Saint Louis, MO on Tuesday, April 03, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is the second such device I have owned. The previous was a Myine IRA which became non-functional after two years. This is a higher quality device. I really appreciate the touchscreen feature, plus the fact that I can use the backup copies of my personal music (on flashdrives) by plugging them into the back of the Touch. My computer need not be involved or turned on to listen to streaming internet audio or my own library.
    Pros:
    Quality and functionality
    Cons:
    None

Great or Bad depending on your needs

Written By JeffA, Rock Springs, WY on Monday, March 26, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

To me this device is incredible. The sound that results from the quality audio circuits in this device alone is worth the price paid. The Stereo imaging and channel separation is noticeable the firts time you use it. The interface is very intuitive and easy to set up. The fact the the Display Font Size changes between using the remote or the touch screen is easily understated in importance but it's a very valuable feature. The SlimServer software is excellent and makes playing music from your PC a snap. The one downside is that I've never been able to make the USB connection work, EVER. Not with a memory stick not with an external hard drive. It just flat out will not work. It lights the LED on the memory device but it won't access it. Reading several blogs this seems to be s common issue. The SD slot works great as long as you give it time to access and download the info from it (this can take minutes). Personally I like the server software so well that I don't miss the USB functionality. I would highly recommend this device to anyone and I wouldn't trade my for anything
    Pros:
Sound, Sound, Sound, just incredibly wonderful sound. User interface and Server software.
    Cons:
USB port operation is very suspect and inconsistent at best.

This unit looks nice and is compatable with your IPhone - sometimes...
    Pros:
When it works it works fine. Pandora is great! Good sound quality.
    Cons:
Needs to be rebooted often. Menus, menus, menus. Has a lot of trouble accessing the music on my computer. I ended putting my favorites on a thumb drive. Many times I need to uninstall the app from my IPhone and reinstall to get it to work.

    Great Product/Great Service

Written By JohnnyW, Illinois on Wednesday, March 14, 2012

I ordered my second Logitech Squeezebox Touch which arrived today. This new one will be used with the stereo system in my master bedroom. I was on a budget so I had to look for the best pricing around. I caught this on sale at Crutchfield which made me very happy. This little box opens up a whole new world when it comes to music. It's small, powerful, and fast. I have 1000's of choices on internet radio, along with my favorite pay service. The sound this unit puts through to my A/V receiver (Pioneer VSX-1021-K) is fabulous. This little Squeezebox Touch is my favorite gadget of all time. I'm a fanatic when it comes to listening to music. I have tunes going literally 18 hours a day. I love this product. Thank you Crutchfield.
    Pros:
Crutchfield's sale price. Crutchfield's free shipping. Crutchfield's awesome service. The huge amount of choices this unti offers when it comes to music. The clarity and accuracy of the sound this unit passes into my A/V receiver. I just can't say enough good things about the Squeezebox Touch. I'm not affiliated with Logitech, Crutchfield, or any other business that anything to do with electronics. I'm just a really happy customer.
    Cons:
    Absolutely NONE!!!!

It's Turning Me Into A Hermit!

Written By Lew, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 07, 2011

This thing paired with a Musical Fidelity M1 DAC is turning me into a hermit! I JUST DO NOT want to leave my home! Don't want to go to work, school, store, NOTHING! I just keep finding things to take care of around my home and listen to the music while taking care of what I need to! It has 4yr. old simplicity to connect and start listening to! The sound is SUPERB! My wife had to ask me few times if I was certain that we were listening to internet music because it sounded too good! The fact that it is connected to the M1 DAC has to do with the sound quality but my music library is being rediscovered! Some music that I thought I liked is just okay now and some music that I did not care for is sounding pretty darn good! The sound quality along with access to any genre of music on the net and on your computer streamed wireless to your home stereo makes this a GENIUS product and I am surprised that millions of these have not flown out the door yet!

The little box that lives up to its name. I had a few issues with setup but nothing that could not be resolved with some instruction reading and updates. I have had it running for three weeks now 10 hours a day and had only one hiccup with the internet causing some issue that was resolved with a restart of the box. I am very happy with the quality of the product and would recommend it and will buy future products from this line.

will frustrate you if you want to listen to Sirius

Written By RST, Venice , FL on Friday, September 16, 2011
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Crutchfield is a great company. The squeezebox touch is probably a decent product but it is essentially incompatible with Sirius internet radio. Logitech will tell you that it is a problem with Sirius and Sirius will likely not return your email queries. Do not buy this product if you wish to use it for streaming Sirius unless you like constantly interrupted service.

    Great Squeezebox Addition

Written By RonW, Saint Louis, MO on Tuesday, September 13, 2011

I added the Squeezebox Touch to 2 other Squeezebox music players in my home. I put it in my home office on the desk so i could pick up internet radio stations from all over the world while working. It was very easy to set up, sounds great, and the clock display when turned 'off' looks good on my desk. I like the touch screen controls and the ease of operation. This is a great product at a very reasonable price.

    Logitech Squeezebox Touch

Written By BrianF, Seattle, WA on Monday, September 05, 2011
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have been meaning to transfer all of my CD's to my computer for a while now and I finally entered the 21st Century with the Squeezebox Touch. I've been an audiophile for 30+ years now and I have to say that this is one of the best equipment purchases I have ever made.

It took two weekends to rip all my CD's and now I have wireless streaming of all my music. The Squeezebox Touch is connected to my integrated amp via coax to take advantage of my amps ESS Sabre DAC.

Not only do all of my rips sound fantastic (they are lossless FLAC files so they sound exactly the same as coming out of my CD player), but organization and remote selecting of music is a joy.

I downloaded iPeng to my iPad and now I can browse and select all of my music from anywhere in my house - great for parties outside on the deck.

I also stream Pandora through the Touch with the same ease as I do my personal music collection. I particularly enjoy the various "Genre" stations Pandora offers. Unfortunately, Pandora doesn't offer high bitrate streaming through remote devices, so it's still strictly MP3 quality, but still, with my amps DAC, even the Pandora streams sound quite good.

This is an extremely well thought out, elegant, attractive, and functional piece of audio gear. Bang-for-the-buck is very high. I'm going to buy a second one for my home theater system.

It's been a while since any electronic gadget has brought such surprise. It's easy to set up, 5 minutes from the box to internet radio. The navigation could be better, but it ain't bad as is. It's a great little product, with very good sound quality through my 2 channel system. My wife loves the large clock/calendar feature when it's not in use. I've just scratched the surface on all this units capabilities and uses. I really like this product, and I'm strongly considering a second one for my office.

Don't Buy for Sirius Radio Capability

Written By jaschar, oakland, ca on Friday, August 05, 2011
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have two Squeezeboxes, the "Touch" and a "Boom". I've been using them to listen to various online radio stations like Pandora and NPR. I also have a Sirius account with an internet radio upgrade. From day one, the Sirius stream on Squeexebox has stopped regularly with a scroll that says, "You are no longer authorized to listen...". This annoyance has gotten worse over the past year, with interruptions occurring more frequently, often a few minutes apart, and immediately after a restart. It's made the use of a Logitech Squeezebox for Sirius streaming impractical and very annoying. For other applications, like streaming Pandora, the Squeezebox works and sounds fine.

Easy to set up, easy to use, performs as advertised.

All in all it's a great way to play your computer MP3 collection and internet music on a real sound system.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Hello, I have been using this for about 1 week and it works as advertised. I received it quickly and in excellent condition form the folks at Cruchfield. It took only 10 min to set up and I was searching for music on my wireless network. I suggest setting up a pandora account for free using a home computer. I love this product so far and would recomment it.

I wanted an internet radio that would also play my music. I am converting all my LPs and CDs to FLAC files and storing them on 32gb SD cards which the Squeezebox Touch will play. What a perfect access to any music I can imagine. Logitech could provide easier access to their manual.
