Overview: The inCarBite M2-20-3F Headrest Car Mount for iPad 2 connects
your Apple iPad 2 easily to almost any vehicle headrest without any tools
required. It also can be used as a table stand for your iPad 2 in the home. The
inCarBite M2-20-3F includes an iMount protective case with built-in FM & IR
transmitter, a Quick-Go-3 headrest
mount, and a 12-volt power adapter.
Note: This product is specifically designed for the Apple iPad 2
(not the iPad or iPad 3).
Quick-Go-3 Headrest Mount: The Quick-Go-3 headrest mount can be
installed very easily to either the driver or passenger seat headrest of your
vehicle. Its two-piece design simply clamps around both metal poles of your
vehicle's headrest and tightens using two threaded knobs. The Quick-Go-3
headrest mount features a rugged ABS plastic exterior (black) with steel frame
internal bracing, so your iPad 2 will not shake while your vehicle is moving.
Note: Adjust the headrest position before installing the
Quick-Go-3 headrest mount.
iMount Case: Your iPad 2 device easily snaps into the iMount
protective case. The iMount case is made of rugged ABS plastic with a rubberized
black finish to protect your iPad 2 in your vehicle. It offers a compact and
lightweight design, with rounded corners. There is an integrated dock-connector
to plug-in your iPad 2 and a back-panel DC port to connect the included
12-volt power adapter. There is also an audio-pin window for access to the iPad
2's headphone jack. In addition, the iMount protective case features a built-in
FM & IR transmitter. The iMount case features an adjustable arm which inserts into
the included Quick-Go-3 headrest mount for in-car use. This adjustable arm also
allows the iMount case to serve as a table-top stand, keyboard stand, or photo
frame for your iPad 2. You can adjust the tilting angle of the arm to your
desirable position to avoid glare.
Note: The iMount case is only designed to orientate your iPad 2
horizontally (not vertically).
FM Transmitter: The iMount
protective case is equipped with a built-in FM transmitter to output sound to
your car audio system through the car stereo's FM radio.
IR Transmitter: The iMount
case features a built-in IR transmitter for private listening through a pair of
IR headphones (sold separately). There is an A-B IR channel switch on the back
panel of the iMount protective case.
12-Volt Power Adapter: The inCarBite M2-20-3F Headrest Car Mount for
iPad 2 comes with a 12-volt power adapter which can be plugged into your
vehicle's cigarette lighter port or 12-volt accessory port in order to supply
power to and charge your iPad 2's internal battery.
Add-On Accessories: You can purchase additional inCarBite accessories
to mount your iPad 2 in multiple vehicles or in your home.
- Powered Headrest Mount: You can purchase an extra power
headrest mount (139AI101S,
sold separately) if you want to be able to move the powered iMount case and your
iPad 2 from one vehicle to another vehicle.
- Powered Kitchen/Desktop Mount: The SI-102 powered kitchen/desktop mount
(139SI102, sold separately) lets you mount the
powered iMount case and your iPad 2
under a kitchen cabinet or simply place it on your desk at home.
