Features
Overview: The Bose SoundLink Wireless Music System allows you to enjoy
digital music and Internet radio from your computer in and around your home. The
Bose SoundLink offers easy setup with no wires or additional software - just
plug the included USB key into your computer so it can communicate with the
SoundLink. The SoundLink Wireless Music System utilizes waveguide speaker
technology for lifelike sound performance. The Bose SoundLink can be moved from
room-to-room thanks to it's built-in handle and rechargeable lithium-ion
battery.
Note: The SoundLink system works with any Mac or PC, on any
operating system, as long as the computer has an available USB port.
Wireless Link: The SoundLink system has its own dedicated wireless
link and will not interfere with any existing wireless network or phones. You do
not need an existing wireless network. The included USB key plugs into your
computer's USB type-A port and wirelessly sends audio to the Bose SoundLink
system, up to 60 feet away in a typical home.
Waveguide Speaker Technology: Waveguide speaker technology helps
enable full-bodied sound, especially in the lower registers, for more
natural-sounding bass and percussion instruments.
Bose Digital Signal Processing:
Bose digital signal processing circuitry enables finer control over the
sound for more consistent, lifelike music reproduction even at low volume
levels.
Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery:
The installed rechargeable
lithium-ion battery provides approximately 3-hours of playback time. The lithium-ion battery charges whenever the system is plugged into a wall outlet with the included power cord.
Note: The included lithium-ion battery is replaceable; go to
Bose.com for replacement.
Built-In Carry Handle: The system's built-in
carry handle allows quick, easy transport from place to place, even
outdoors (not weather resistant).
Auxiliary Input: The Bose SoundLink
is equipped with a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary
input for playing an MP3 player or DVD/CD player through the system.
Touch-Sensitive Controls:
The Bose SoundLink Wireless Music System features touch-sensitive volume control buttons
that are located on the side of the unit to raise and lower the system's volume.
Remote Control:The supplied
wireless RF remote control operates power and volume, and can also play/pause and
skip tracks within a playlist from almost anywhere in the room. The included
remote operates off of a single CR2032 Lithium-cell 3-volt battery (installed).
Note: The SoundLink's wireless remote does not control any device
plugged into the system's Auxiliary input.
