Video: Focal Component Speaker Integration Kit for VW
Focal's IFVW Golf 6 system provides you with a huge improvement in sound quality by letting you replace the VW's front door tweeters and woofers with a set of custom speakers that fit right into the factory locations and plug into the existing wiring. Once these speakers are installed, you'll experience better clarity in vocals, punchier midrange, and more detailed bass lines — without having to cut new holes or run new wiring.
Focal's Integration Series gives you legendary Focal sound with a factory fit and finish. We installed an Integration kit into a 2012 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Each Integration kit is designed specifically to fit the factory locations, and tuned for that car's interior. The tweeters are mounted in custom enclosures that snap into the factory locations and plug into the factory wiring.
Focal Integration kits even include most of the hardware needed for the job. In this case, that included the proper size drill bit for drilling out the rivets holding the Volkswagen's factory speaker in place. The speakers are sensitive enough to work beautifully with the factory stereo but if you decide to upgrade they'll handle up to 75 watts RMS.
